Farmcity — Restaurant in Lagos State

I had grilled fish & chips with some Chapman and everything was affordable and tasty. But I noticed a few things during my time there:

It was my first time and it was quite confusing to figure out the best entrance to the building as there are multiple entrances. The outdoor space upstairs is nice but there’s no signage or notice that indicates public smoking is allowed. So if you’re asthmatic or have breathing problems like I do, you might find yourself in uncomfortable fix.

-There are also spacious indoor seating areas but it may be difficult to figure out how their table service works since there isn’t a permanent waiter in every room.

Farm city seems like a great for groups but I observed that there was a family with 2 young children and no have child seats were available ( for

Farmcity...like many other Lagos restaurants, they cater to a wide range of clientele with both African & limited foreign dishes. Went there for their acclaimed fisherman's soup and was not disappointed. Though spicy, it was delicious. Came with 2 small snails, 2 small pieces of catfish and catfish head. If you are not a fan of crayfish, do not go for this dish as it is laden with it. The restaurant is dimly lit with blue light which is not great for the eyes. We were waited on less than 7 minutes after being seated. Food was served within 25 minutes. Their drinks/smoothies/cocktails/teas are standard prices ranging from #500 to #4'000. The overall prices of the ears offered are affordable. It is better to go in the afternoon or early evening as customers are more late evening and night. This means increased grilling leaving the general floor smoky. It is a good place for parties, lunches, work meetings (etc) depending on timing. The restaurant can be accessed by a flight of stairs, so if your are bringing chimdren/babies, no strollers/buggies. Parking is tight as it only parks less than 10 cars. Overall, definitely a restaurant yo try and one to revisit...

I was at farm city Ogudu with my friend, and I must say we regretted going! The place was so boring, customer service was poor, we called the lady that gave us the menu that we're ready to place our order and she left us and went outside doing nothing, we had to call someone else to attend to us, I was pissed off and just had shawarma and chips, my partner didn't even have anything except malt, he was pissed off with the lady that ignored us, the shawarma isn't worth the price, very small and just filled with garbage and mayonnaise, too pricey for the low quality shawarma that I got, also the chips wasn't chipping, I must confess I regretted going, also their security, gateman and the people that the parking space where all begging for money, I and my partner just hissed and was like with the rubbish customer service we had and waste of money we should still give you money as per? Because we didn't give the parking guys money they refused to check coming vehicles for us lol, my partner that is a pro in driving! We left and promised to never return again.
