FoLiXx Bukka — Restaurant in Lagos State

Has a nice ambience and several seating options in various configurations. There is the Lounge, The Bukka and the Shawarma spot. There are different sections for different activities like snookers, hookah/shisha. First, the parking is grossly inadequate, considering that there were hardly up to 20 patrons in the lounge, the car park was full. I have no idea how many were in the bukka. The service was very poor. The girl was so absent-minded. She took the orders, then went away for about 5 mins, brought the drinks, and brought no glasses till we asked. Then she went to get glasses, took about 3 minutes. After another 10 minutes, she came to say one of the orders was unavailable, so it was changed. Finally, some of the food arrived, with mismatched cutlery. When asked to bring a spoon,she was gone for about 5 minutes and then brought the bill instead. So she had to go back to get the spoon. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Look at my pictures. We spent 3,680N on Village Rice, Ogbono Soup and Eba x3. Look at the level of soup that was given. Imagine...with Eba x3 ordered, and you can't even fill half the container with soup?!?!? Are we ordering from a kid's menu??? Like what is this??? I added the spoon so you can see the level of rice that was given. Notice that it doesn't reach the entire spoon. Just half the circle...half! The rice and soup was even cold, and we ordered through Glovo and the delivery was super fast. The eba was even piping hot, so why was the rice and soup so cold??? Also, no meat anywhere! Maybe their food portions are best when ordered in person, but if doing delivery, save your money and book elsewhere. We ordered from Trustee Restaurant. Got Egusi with Eba x2 and Catfish Pepper Soup and had more portion for two adults. Both soups were at least half the bowl. This meal was an insult to the money we spent and will never order from here...

Likes: There's reasonably large parking space with attendants to help you park; There's a large open-air area where you can sit under the clouds; The DJ on set on the day I visited was good and knew how to blend old and new songs; There are reasonable number of waiters/waitresses to take your orders

Dislikes: The prices, especially of drinks, are quite high. For example, a tiny glass shot of tequila costs 1k. A 75cl bottle of water costs 500 (not even 200 or 300). And I guess prices are higher upstairs. I and my guests had one grilled cat fish which wasn't so superb in taste. At best, it was just ordinary. It wasn't worth the price of 5k. It took too long (more than 45 minutes) for the fish we ordered to be served. By the time it came, we had almost finished our drinks. There were too many people seated around us who were smoking shisha. This was very discomforting because we couldn't avoid the smoke.

In all I give it a 3-star...
