Food City Ketu — Restaurant in Lagos State

Food City as the name implies is a city where good food is gotten at an affordable price. I am making this post as a local guide and I'm not in any supporting any eatery or fast food. Before last year, the only fast food in Tipper area of Ketu- Alapere was Tantalizers. Tantalizers used to be the IN-THING in Tipper area of Ketu Alapere until space became a problem with other factors. Some of these challenges Food City came to address. Ketu-Alapere is a densely populated area with people who also likes good life. So Food City came to make life better with enough space, good food, and quality service delivery.

A portion of good food cost #150, Big tasty Chicken cost about #750, big tasty Donut cost #100 and the likes. The building is big, well lighted, working ACs, Pop corn sales point is outside the building by your right when entering, enough chairs and tables, transparent matured glasses, well trained Security to welcome people in and say good byes when leaving. Did i also mention that the car pack is superb and relatively ok.

This place is good for family hangout, friends Hangout, Business hangouts, etc.

If only you appreciate the truth then hear this: Food city sells very good food, very good security guards that assist for parking and good manners. Nice interiors but very poor service and response time. They never have change and on several occasions I had to leave my change. The girls at counters are not like the ones you find at chicken republic or tasty. In this bussiness you need a blend of tribes so that it does not become too yorubalistic except if the bussiness is only for one tribe. Teach the girls to smile, be friendly, treat children with love and attend to them first and finally should always have change. Food City has capacity to do better than old names. I love their bread it's one of the best. The main issue is attitude, special attention to kids, change after purchase and stop frowning. I sent my kid to buy bread sometime ago and the girls kept him waiting g for 45min because he was a kid but in organized sectors kids are even given special attention and all adults respect that. Every other aspect in food city is ok except those mentioned. Hope you take this constructive criticism...

Food quality is okay that's why I manage to give 1 star. Their ketu customer service officers are a total zero. when I buy food I usually take a look at their cakes. I had 2 undesirable experiences with them. First off, we wanted to purchase a cake for my office early July, the price they called was 30k and they said it was nonnegotiable. surprisingly we did the same cake at their surulerw branch at 23k... same cake! very fishy. Those customer officers must be pocketing money for themselves. 2nd experience was just last month, I came to buy a cake for my 10 year old and was told the lady selling was off duty. okay cant someone else sell to me? they said they were coming and they were attending to food customers in the restaurant. I stood and was watchin and waiting.
