DE’ CASCADE By Cilantro — Restaurant in Mabushi

De' Cascade by Cilantro is a new introduction to Cilantro chain of restaurants located almost opposite NIPCO filling station at mabushi, along Banex-Kado Road. It's just one the road so it would be hard to miss. The restaurant is very identical to Cilantro in Maitama with a little finesse. You have valet service at the entrance and you walk down into the beauty associated with Cilantro. The ambience is top-notch and totally different from the usual Abuja restaurant. It goes for a more tropucal forest traditional theme with fountains and rocks and trees all around and blended into the architectural design. Whoever the architect was, deserves a thumb up. The ambience is filled with the usual Cilantro-esque calming music. Both outdoor and indoor dining experiences were worth experiencing.

The ambience and furnishings was Cilantro class. But that's all that was Cilantro class. The service was not really great. The attendants looked poorly dressed and seem not to so happy to see us. I think there needs to be a change of their uniforms. The food and drinks weren't great either. We had the Oreos milkshake and strawberry mojito. The Mojito was great but the oreo milkshake tasted like a watery milo and milk drink. That was the most terrible Oreos milkshake ever created 😩. The food was also like that, I had the chicken biriyani and it tasted not so great, I couldn't even eat it 😫. The curry was too much and overall it didn't taste good. The chicken peppersoup was good actually. I think, there needs to be improvement in the area of food and drinks.

This place is nothing to right home about. The service is poor, no communication, the waiters have a very bad attitude to customers . I went there this evening (14/2/25) and I spent 2 hours plus. Placed an order and and after almost 2hours we hadn't been served. The worst of all, the waiters did not care, they just kept running around doing nothing. There were not even concerned and the end of the day I left without being served. People were coming in and all leaving angrily and there was no concern. I even asked of the manager and I didn't see. I wish this review gets to the owner so he or she can do something about it before the business get ruined. I sensed that the workers do not care about the place and it was a deliberate act . A big place like that should have a supervisor and manager which we did not see. My evening...

I had the pleasure of dining at De cascade by cilantro yesterday with my colleagues, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was stunning, with a beautifully designed interior that set the tone for a wonderful evening.

The food was exceptional, with each dish expertly prepared and presented. I was impressed by the variety of options on the menu, and our server helped us navigate the choices with ease.

But what truly made our experience stand out was the outstanding customer service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, ensuring that our glasses were always full and our needs were met.
