HCue Restaurant — Restaurant in Port-Harcourt

I had a disappointing experience with the cashier on duty this morning (between 8:45 am and 9:10 am on February 13, 2023). I was trying to purchase a loaf of bread for my family's breakfast and gave her an old N1000 Naira note. However, she refused to accept it. A customer who was also purchasing food came to my rescue and exchanged the old note for a new one. I then gave the new note to the cashier, who begrudgingly accepted it. After waiting for about 15 minutes, she informed me that she didn't have change for N200 and insisted that I use my card. Unfortunately, I did not have my card with me at the time.

The cashier's behavior was extremely rude and she was not fit to work as a cashier. If she is to continue in this role, she needs to undergo training or be let go. If I were to come across her in your restaurant again, I would not...

I have been going to Hcue for over a year now, sometimes buying in large quantities, and the service has been ok, but yesterday June 14th, 2025 at about 1 pm, was not ok; I ordered 6 meat pies, the cashier had taken the pies and placed in the little plastic bag, now, I'm waiting to make payment, but didn't see my pie anymore, meanwhile, she is already attending to someone else, then I asked her where my pie was? And she said; she was MICROWAVING my pie with the plastic bag, without even asking me!!!! I asked her to bring it out because plastic and microwave don't go together. I was ready to make payment, but she wouldn't even talk to me anymore, I screamed for another cashier, but nobody showed up! and this is supposed to be somebody's business. I actually left in anger and swore never to order...

I Had a great experience here, i didnt like pizza till i tried Hcue pizza, it beats Dominos,pepperoni and many others i have tried. Parfait was nice, crispy and the best one yet. they have the best CHOPS of samosa very addictive, spring rolls, and snacks as well. and i love the native meals i have tried here like AMALA and EWEDU i had it for the first time in Hcue and it was amazing. Also EWAGOYIN and Native rice.... in summary i would say HCUE restaurant is an amazing place to try varieties of meals, chops and snacks cos i totally loved my experience and will not stop patronizing.
