WokCity Restaurant Ibara Abeokuta

Wok City is at the centre of the commercial area in Abeokuta. It is an okay eatery place to grab a bite. You can eat-in or take away.

Service was quite very slow. I had to demand service after about 7-10 minutes of no sign of been served.

There was variety of local food (I.e. swallow), pastries, cakes, bread with lots of drinks to choose from.

The resturant sits about 30-40 people. It was clean enough, even though it was a full house. The cleaner was superb all through out. The manager spotted things, directed her staff and actually did some herself.

UPDATE REVIEW BASED ON VISIT ON 13/12/19 I have visited several times and eaten-in and take away.

Their snacks is great. Bought meat pie, chicken pie and tried the sausage roll, round bread with raisin, slice loaf of bread and a fruit mixed drink (water melon and pineapple).

The chicken pie and sausage roll were exceptionally good. The chicken pie was hot spicy and the sausage roll had sausage from one side to the other end. Usually, I had given up hope on eatery sausage rolls, because there was never enough sausage in the sausage rolls. I usually called then air rolls instead of sausage rolls. Wok...

What makes a restaurant is the quality of food and customer service and the system here is ridiculous. So I choose a drink and right on the counter I change my mind for something even more expensive and the waiter said she can't take out the initial order. It hit me as rude shock because how difficult is it to take out an order before closing the transaction. And they said it's the Manager rule. It's absurd. It's ridiculous and unheard of. It puts the customer in an uncomfortable situation and even the waiter too. It's a terrible experience. The spoons are horrible. The toilet is DIRTY!!! PLEASE DO BETTER!!! It's against consumer protection laws to try and force a product...

Imagine serving us spoiled chicken to eat in your restaurant today…..your food is good though but your chicken is something else It’s a spoiled chicken….we went to meet those that served us the food… they all said they didn’t know but the knew that the chicken is not good but they intentionally gave us we wanted to cause trouble tho….::but due to the customers there we had to left so it’s won’t be like we just want to tanish your image because of 1k chicken it’s well oo
