The best lamb in the Balcans. Simple as that. But the story doesn't end there. They serve also the amazing yellow grape rakija, and, coming from Serbia, we already covered 2 things which are worth 555km straight from Belgrade to them. On top of that, you are served by warm, kind people, in extraordinary environment, sitting beneath Javor (Maple) tree, probably older then any of us, in the shaddow of it's mighty branches, and last, but not the least, try their vanilla ice cream but ask for it to be topped with their wild fig sweet, I bet you have never tasted anything similar. Wine lovers, you won't be dissapointed, North Macedonia is famous for it's wineries. I was actually waiting for 3 years to have the same experience due to covid pandemics, and this time, we have booked their room and stayed for the night on our way back from Greece. Apartment is superbly clean, I thought my dress was white before I layed it on the bed sheets to have a shower after 700km car ride. It wasn't white, I guess, not compared to those sheets😁We had a big apartment, comfy big bed, but we laughed as nothing is more obsolete in this world as having an oven next to their restaurant, but we had fully equiped kitchen as well. Special thanks to the best Waiter who saved us the last portion of the lamb since we arrived at 9pm and for that Rose bottle we have received as the present. We will come back in September again, hopefully. We love JAVOR ĐOKO ❤❤❤ P.S.: We don't have photos of the lamb, since we have eaten...

Read moreI've been visiting this restaurant occasionally for 30 years, but this is my first review. It has not been advanced especially in terms of the ambience of the interior, which is now doubly expanded, but is still desperately designed and fairly cheap, which is not appropriate to the fairly high bid prices. Fully offered foods are fairly poorer than before, the size of the portions is considerably lower, but prices are as high as before. Only lamb chops, according to which this restaurant is known throughout the Balkans, are still masterfully delicious and with the same quality continuously until today. Personally, I have not had staff remarks so far, both in terms of courtesy and in the speed of the service. Hygiene on a decent level and I warmly recommend it to everyone, to enjoy the taste of...
