What a wonderful cafe! This is the real Norway. You can dine inside or outside. Lots more tables outside but we decided to sit inside in a small room all by itself.

My wife and I had the fish soup, one of each kind they offered, which was 179NOK each. The white fish soup had large chunks of white fish in it and was delicious. The tomato based soup, Bouillabaisse, had small shrimp and small chunks of fish (no mussels, nor large chunks of carrots). Also good.

Don't miss out on desert. The carrot cake was good.

Really nice looking cafe with decent prices. We had the fish soup, which was excellent, and a pizza, which was not quite as good. The service was not up to speed, though. The soup came so much earlier than the pizza that we had to eat seperately and people seemed slightly confused as to who ordered what although there were only four tables taken on the patio. We waited over 30 minutes without any service, even though the place wasn’t full, and eventually left. There were empty tables that hadn’t been cleared, and the staff seemed uninterested and hard to find.
