The Pizza Man — Restaurant in Bergen

Order was prepared quickly and ready for pickup within the specified time. Pizza was altered according to our special request. Thanks! The pizza and the curly fries were both… ok. I’m sure they were better fresh, but after an hour on a Wolt passenger seat taking the scenic route in and around town, they were cold and sad. However, the pizza dough was noticably well above average even cold.

The garlic mayo was edible but not great. Needs more acid (and more/real garlic). The chili mayo was not delivered. Could have been great, we wouldn’t know. Warm soda (as expected with 1h+ delivery). What even are those Wolt prices? I’ve seen price increases before, but that is crazy.

Summary: Might have given it a second try if we lived in the neighbourhood and could pick the food up ourselves, but living a 10 minute drive away means paying literally twice as much for cold, soggy food. This is obviously mainly Wolt’s fault (and ours for wasting our money ordering through them), not the restaurant’s, but restaurants choosing to keep working with these companies are unfortunately also choosing to have their product...

Great value, delicious pizzas, and spotless clean!

The Pizza Man in Laksevåg is hands down the cleanest place in the area – spotless and very welcoming. Their pizzas come in two sizes, and both are generous and super tasty. We were visiting the Bergen area and happened upon The Pizza Man and we sure are glad we did. Jan, the owner is very friendly and customer oriented. His restaurant is clean and the pizza and curly fries (curly fries in Norway!!!) were excellent!!!
