By The Way Lofoten — Restaurant in Flakstad

There aren’t a lot of options at or near Fredvang but luckily there is BTWL. Easy to see how these guys get their 5 star rating and they deserve it. We had the fish burger and the pulled pork - after missing out on one at the food truck in Hamnoy we put in an order to be sure before earning it by walking the Ryten/Kvalvika trail. Both were excellent - generous in size and delicious. The fish was coalfish - a new variety to me but perfect for the burger. If I was picky I’d say the fries let the side down just a little. Tasty enough but hand cut would be even better - but that’s a small point. Clearly the word is out as there was a steady stream of customers - and though it’s situated in a carpark, the Lofoten scenery is all around so it’s a great place to enjoy the food....

DON’T WALK, RUN TO THIS FOOD TRUCK! Incredible food! Highly recommend! We came here two days in a row for lunch. Both my husband and I agree this was the best food we had in all of Norway.

The portion sizes are very filling, the fries are hot and the aioli is amazing. We loved the fish sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. The focaccia bread is seasoned perfectly and melts in your mouth. They were both so hot and fresh. It is very apparent everything is made fresh and homemade. The owners are such sweet people and they are running a top notch place here. We really hope someday they will have a restaurant and we can try more of their food! Highly,...

No wonder why people give the highest rating to this cafe. I think this is the best concept for a restaurant and you can find the most delicious food here among all Lofoten as I tried and was disappointed with most restaurants. They did not even charge me the aioli sauce for which I was surprised. The people operating here are kind and seem to be hard-working people and they seem to put a good effort on what they do. Don’t skip this place if you are in Lofoten.
