NyNas Sushi & Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Horten

I was talked into getting a lunch here. Probably one of those bad decisions you live to regret later on in life. Now, don't get me wrong, I do not know what the sushi tastes like in this place, because I ordered wok rice with chicken. Man, I really do not wish to make people feel bad about themselves, but the food was pretty bad. Chicken was tasting funny, borderline awful. And the wok rice was like it was made with one of those frozen instant rice meals. Overloaded with turmaric powder, guess they wanted to cover up the flavours of the rest of the ingredients. Maybe sushi is better. Because everyone else was ordering sushi. So, I am not taking bad about the sushi. Maybe it is good. I do not know. But the food I had was disappointing. Not visiting this place anymore. And don't get me started with explaining about the facility and toilet. I will leave this one out of the review which is...

Me and my wife came in for some sushi to take home and my reading in Norwegian isn't always up to scratch so I asked for help to find some vegan options and the owner walked me through what was available for us and we all had a lovely chat throughout the visit. She was so nice and welcoming, when we came home with the food we plated up and sat to enjoy the meal and it was fantastic! I travel to Horten a few times a year to visit family and this will absolutely be a stop in our next visit. Thanks so much for your delicious sushi and thank you for all your help! Just passed by during my trip around the area, the space is quite empty, but I order a take-away so didn't matter. Thought that this was just like a one-time visit, didn't expect much but it turned out to be very catchy, the softness of the rice, the taste of the salmon with a bit of wasabi and dipping sauce just melt in my mouth. The first store that I've fell in love with since the day I came to Oslo. I am definitely trying this place out a few more times before off...
