Østensjø Havn — Restaurant in Oslo

I’m a regular and love this place. The name couldn’t be more fitting, a harbor that welcomes you in with warm atmosphere, delicious food and impeccable service.

The pizza is very good, approved by basically every Italian I bring here, even the picky ones ;) But everything else on the menu is also top, consistently with the attention to detail in the brand and service. The play area for kids is so convenient and allows the whole family to have a good time.

This place makes a big difference in the neighborhood. It has welcomed us during all phases of becoming parents, offering a bit of comfort in tough days, a convenient place to meet friends and family, a harbor to discover and connect with the local community.

I would put 3.5 if I could, as they have tried to make something nice out of this place. Decoration, lightning are enjoyable and create a cosy atmosphere. Pizzas were OK. Good fresh dough, cheese and other ingredients unfortunately didn't meet our taste expectation but still a very acceptable pizza. Menu still fairly limited but we've been told they plan to expand the selection which would be good. Pastries are home made and very tasteful while the beer selection is good. I came when they were just open and back again today. Both times i ordered the same. The skagentoast. I gotta say the dish improved a lot.
