The atmosphere (before COVID) was pretty unique, but in a good an interesting way. Its worth taking a look around the room while you're waiting for your food.

When your curry arrives you're probably gonna have a good time. What I ordered both times was a curry that had something to do with garlic and the chicken was green, but that curry is hella tasty. Its a bit on the spicy side, but if you ordered a naan with it, its gonna give you a milder taste so you won't be overwhelmed by the spicy curry. If you ordered take away and didn't order naan then it can't hurt to keep a glass of milk close by, just in case.

A lot of the other reviews say that the indian food here is authentic, but as someone who hasn't had curry in India before I cannot confirm or deny that claim. What I can claim is that its better than any curry I've made at home.

Last time I was there it was take-away only (for obvious reasons) but it didn't take long until the food was finished, and the way the dish was packaged made it easy to carry home and open. Only source of difficulty was the glass bottle of coke, but if you drink it while waiting on the food instead of bringing it home you should have an easier time...

We were excited to try out Grand Taj after their recent move to a new location. While the food was good, the service left much to be desired.

Service Unfortunately, the service was lacking during our visit. Our server seemed unattentive and took a long time to provide us with menus while other guests were being served. It was also challenging to get her attention when we were ready to order or needed something. To make matters worse, she forgot to bring our drinks. Hopefully, she was just new and inexperienced as the service really needs improvement.

Samosa The samosas were delicious and came with a side of yogurt-based raita and salad. The crust was nicely fried and the spiced potato filling inside was flavorful.

Paneer Nan The freshly made naan had a generous filling of paneer cheese and tasted great.

Uærlige mennesker selv i Ramadan. Betalte for bordbestillingen som var gjort på 5 pers kontant. Han som tok i mot betalingen ble opplyst om hvilken bord det gjaldt og hvor mange personer det var og navnet bestillingen stod på, han pekte selv til og med mot bordet og spurte om det var bordet vi satt på jeg betalte for. Dro ut med en av de andre guttene ut for frisk luft, så ser jeg at han jeg har betalt til står og tar betalt igjen fra de andre vennene mine. Når jeg går inn og sier jeg har betalt blir han helt rød i ansiktet og man ser han har prøvd å rett å slett stjele til seg mer penger fra oss. Han beklaget ikke en gang for sitt oppførsel. Og dette var ingen feiltagelse. Fordi når jeg kom inn og sa dette er betalt for viste han veldig godt hva han gjorde og ignorerte oss og latet som ingenting hadde skjedd og bare dro bort fra bank terminalen. Hadde store forhåpninger til stedet. Dro ditt med venner for å åpne fasten. Vi bestilte bord for fem men de hadde lagt opp for kun fire. Maten smakte helt for forferdelig, den dårligste iftar buffen jeg har smakt så langt på flere år. Lukter fra kjøttet, han ene som spiste kjøttet måtte løpe på do for å spytte ut, var så ille. Eneste spiselige var grillet kylling, alt annet smakte som sagt forferdelig, ting var ikke ordentlig tilberedt, og smakte rart, dahi bale som de hadde smakte (kulene) kjemikalier/såpe veldig rar smak.
