We were driving back after a long day of hiking and wanted to do an Indian take away. Luckily for us this was the only restaurant that was open at 23:00. We asked for a take away but we were asked to come in if we were ok with it and that they'd keep it open longer for us. What a kind gesture! I'd rather eat at the restaurant than out of a take away box! The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff and service are extremely friendly and hospitable. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try traditional quality Indian food! Will definitely come back if we're in Stavanger again, it was lovely to meet such wonderful human beings who have come together from various countries (Ind, Pak) to provide...

We were visiting town and ended up here because it was nearby and we were looking for something that wasn't fast food or pizza. The place is s nice with a simple decor, nothing fancy but enough to feel like a decent restaurant. Service was quick and friendly, and we had ordered within a couple of minutes. Nice starters, but the little salad in the side was unnecessary. Probably just to fill the plate. We had Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka masala, and Butter chicken. Lamb and chicken was both firm and tender. The Vindaloo was spicy, but I'm used to spicy and could have had it a bit more spicy. Butter chicken and Tikka masala was rich in taste. Rice steamed with aromatics. Everything was delicious! It's a shame we're just visiting because I'd...

This is a fairly large indian restaurant and they have seating for 30+ people. There is a nice traditional vibe and indian music playing.

I was Hungry, so I got onion bhaji, garlic naan, sweet lassi, chicken Jalfrezi, and finally a chai. Everything except the chicken Jalfrezi was very well done to the point that I do not have any feedback or criticism. I did notice the Naan I got was not totally warm, so the timing can be improved a bit, but it was warm enough. The chicken Jalfrezi was good. I got an spicy one, and it was appropriately spicy, but may have masked some of other flavors I am used to.

Update 2023.10.21 Visited the place again. I would say all were amazing. Food is supergood, the naan was delicious, Mango lassi fresh fruity. The place is absolutely recommended. Had lunch there yesterday. The food is nice the service was good, and I especially love the interior. Those lamps look amazing. About the food: I loved butter chicken, nice spice tender chicken. The mango chicken was a bit too sweet for me, but it can be my taste… The naan: Took garlic and peshwari naan. They were nice but bit yeast taste. Not sure if I’m right. All in all food is recommended. One thing I missed is that I got used to get papad while waiting the food.

Wow! I'm shocked by positive reviews for this place. I've never had such a tasteless karahi in my life. Watery with no depth of flavour, with tasteless lamb. I honestly do not know how it has a 4.5 star rating. Tried a few Indian, Pakistani, Afgani restaurants since ive been here, and actually never had one this low quality. To be fair, it looked good, but thats where it ended. I have eaten here before when it first opened but forgot why i hadnt been back in a few years, now I remember. To add to the pain, my Aloo nan bread didn't arrive, and instead received a plain 'tasteless' bread.
