Our local guide had asked us if we wanted to dry any traditional Omani/Yemeni dish. Couldn't resist. So... what he ordered for us was Camel meat!! Apparently, it is very traditional but not served in most restaurants. We were quite apprehensive so asked them to make it half Camel and half Chicken just to be on the safe side. We asked them if the meat was fresh and they started making up their own explanations and didn't answer the question properly. The food tastes like it's made for animals. The rice and the chicken were bland and the chicken tasted like old, frozen meat. When it was time to pay, they charged us extra for nothing. They started making up excuses that the menu is old and doesn't inform about the new prices. I don't recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. God knows why...
