Food Review: Laguna Restaurant
I recently visited Laguna Restaurant, and my experience was a mixed bag that highlighted both strengths and weaknesses. Ambiance: One of the standout features of Laguna Restaurant is its ambiance. The setting is excellent, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The decor is tastefully done, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable dining environment. Chicken and Mushroom Soup: The chicken and mushroom soup was one of the high points of the meal. It was of very good quality, rich and flavorful with a creamy consistency that warmed the palate. However, I found the portion size to be disappointingly small for the price, leaving me wanting more. Pizza and Pasta: Moving to the main courses, the pizza and pasta didn't quite meet expectations. Both dishes were noticeably less salty, which made them feel bland and lacking depth. While the ingredients appeared fresh, the flavors simply didn’t pack the punch that one would hope for in Italian cuisine. Service: Sadly, the service was where Laguna Restaurant fell short. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, leading to frustrating delays in both service and food delivery. This lack of responsiveness detracted significantly from the overall dining experience. Overall Impression: Laguna Restaurant has an excellent ambiance that sets a lovely backdrop for a meal, and the chicken and mushroom soup impresses with its quality. However, the small portion sizes, the need for more seasoning in the pizza and pasta, and the extremely poor service left a lot to be desired. With some adjustments, particularly in service and flavor enhancement, Laguna could become a go-to spot for an enjoyable dining experience. As it stands, the prices feel a bit steep for what is...
Read moreThis is my first experience with the coffee shop. Google maps took me to an area beside the coffee shop which you reach it from behind the coffee shop and not from the beach road. This area can be a good parking area if it's arranged and fixed well which is not at the moment. The entrance didn't consider handicaps or children trolleys.
The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. The view to the sea is marvelous. The combination of blue and white coloring and the warm treatment from the staff with the warm excellent coffee allows you to sit for ours. There are indoor and outdoor seating. The place is 3 floors and you get to choose between the first and second. There is a small elevator in the place or you can use the stairs. There is a clean toilet which you can use. There are some Arabic Novels if you are a reader.
I'm sure you'll love the coffee and the place....
Read more"Bad Customer Service from the supervisor" I gave you before 5* because I found the coffee nice, but now I am changing it to 2* because the food is not tasty, all the dishes have sweet taste🤢. Add to this that we ordered butter chicken and we asked if there is coconut that makes it sweet they brought for us sweet butter chicken and we had doubt that it has coconut! They denied! The waiter asked us if we want to cancel the dish and we said yes! The supervisor later came and argued with us and he insisted they cannot cancel and we had to pay for it! Bad customer service so you desire 2 stars, just for the view and the good coffee taste from the last experience and just to be fair and not to give you 1 star! Make customer satisfaction your fist priority if you want to have their loyalty! I might not...
