BBQ Tonight Bahawalpur — Restaurant in Bahawalpur City Tehsil

I had high expectations from BBQ Tonight, I've dined in Lahore and Karachi both, but this one was worst of all. Service was shittier than you can imagine.

We went on iftar buffet and to our surprise it had lots of empty space but iftar ended before we reached. They got us some fruit chat that's all, rest was finished even before the maghrib prayer, we reached there during the Azan.

Let's talk about their food, it's called BBQ tonight but their seekh kebab were awfully tasteless. Their tikka boti was undercooked and blood was pouring out of the meat. The egg fried rice were basically just boiled rice. Their pasta was okay, and finger fish as well but it ended and they took forever to restock it.

Now coming to mutton gravies, there were 3 different one's written on the menu but they just put same thing in 3 different dishes and placed them apart so no one could know the difference.

After all the low quality food and no food, their staff was not cooperative, they were behaving as if they don't want to do the job. We had to ask several times to get water and glasses to out table.

I won't suggest people to go to the buffet there as it's not worth it. And they charged around 3k per person and would not take card payments, to avoid charging less tax on...

Lovely ambience! The outdoor setup is amazing. The staff is polite and accommodating. The serving time is good. We ordered honey mustard wings in the appetizer. Although the quantity was more than sufficient for the two of us, the taste was not up to the par. The honey mustard sauce was very thick and looked like mayo so that hid the taste of the wing underneath for us so 5/10 for it. However, we ordered mutton khadda sajji in main meal and it was lit! The meat was tender, juicy and tasty. The rice that came along could improve as they tasted a bit bland even though they were full of carrots, cashews, dates, raisins etc. It would be 8/10 and a must try. The mint margarita was good as well. So overall, good food experience. The rates are high, no doubt. Two people bill was 5000 but worth it. The washrooms need improvement. They were dirty and smelly. This is not a personal attack on anyone, but a genuine review of my very bad experience with their management, behavior, and food quality.

We booked their outdoor space for an event of 60+ people, handled by Manager Waseem from start to finish. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a disaster:

What was agreed upon was not delivered; -everything turned out completely opposite of what was promised. Food service was delayed for more than 1.5 hours, leaving guests frustrated and complaining. The mutton quality was extremely poor, and overall food quality was far below expectations. Instead of apologizing or fixing the issues, the management (especially Waseem) was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful to both us and our guests.

This not only ruined the event but also damaged our reputation in front of our guests. Highly unprofessional place with terrible management and food quality. I would strongly advise against booking them for any event...
