Happened to drop in for a lunch and decided to order their philadelphia stuffed chicken and a rice bowl. With nutella brownie cake and three milk cake for dessert. Here is an item wise breakdown Philadelphia chicken: 3/5 Chicken was properly cooked, stuffing was a cheesy spinach mix. The sauce on top spoiled the whole experience. It was a sour watery corn flour based sauce with yellow coloring and no hint of butter. Asked the waiter to fix it but he added more cornflour to make it thick. Not recommended
Rice bowl: about 80% rice some chowmein and the rest is chicken. Drumsticks were an add on. Was filling and flavorful. Basic chinese rice and gravy. No complaints but no wow factor even. Justified the price. 4/5
Nutella brownie: 4.5/5 Not bad.
Three milk cake : 1/5 It was a small tiny little cup cake dipped in a puddle of vanilla ice cream diluted in milk and a few biscuit crumbs topped on it. Not recommended
Service: waiter dipped their thumb in the Philadelphia sauce while giving me the plate. I complained but they didn’t give a flying duck about it.
Ambience: HOT . Like sweating hot and uncomfortable on the second floor. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and the only comfortable spots were the ones directly in front of the AC.
Service: poor The wait staff were attentive. Drink was served when i was near the end of my meal. Service charges were added in the bill
Overall experience: after having their food and experiencing the poor service i came to realize why i was avoiding this place since a long time. If u really have to go because of some majboori just make sure its not busy and order...
Read moreI went there with great expectations but came out with mixed feelings. The menus handed out to us were a4 sized, black and white and enclosed in plastic cover secured by staple pins. Moreover, there were probably not enough copies because waiters kept asking if they can take back the menu and when we finally said yes they took it and gave it to people on the other table. Then we ordered afghani pulao and corden bleu. Cordon bleu tasted good and the vegetables and the mashed potatoes on the side were really tasty but the plating lacked finesse. The bread served with it was not fresh too. But overall it was 8/10 for me. But the afghani pulao disappointed us a little. It had total 3 mutton pieces that too not bigger than an inch. It had plenty of other things like almonds, dates etc but the meat quantity was very little. Taste was good but not up to our expectations. The waiter said its our best rice dish so we set our expectations according to that. We also ordered peach juices and they were 10/10. The ambience was nice and washrooms were clean. The service was fast too. Prices were expensive so we had come thinking that we'll get an Uber amazing experience however it wasn't like that. Still, if they improve, they can really become the best place to eat...
Read moreI recently visited Kababish Continental, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The chicken quality was notably good—fresh and tender. The restaurant is definitely upscale and on the pricier side in Bahawalpur; as such, a slight improvement in the taste would make it stand out even more. While everything else was excellent, refining the flavor would further enhance the overall dining experience. The staff was courteous, and the ambiance was comfortable. I recommend sitting on the ground floor, as it is cooler and more relaxing, whereas the first floor tends to get a bit warm. Images and videos of my visit are attached for a more detailed look.
Rating: 8.5/10 (Approx. 4/5 stars restaurant by Bahawalpur standards)
Additional Note: This is my personal opinion. You may not agree with it, so I recommend visiting the place yourself at least once to form...
