From the moment I stepped into Chatthaâs BBQ & Nashta in Bahria Town Phase 4, the aroma of sizzling handis and freshly baked breads promised something unforgettable and it absolutely delivered. The restaurant offers a clean and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for casual dinners or weekend brunches.
Now letâs talk food because thatâs where Chatthaâs truly shines. I tried their Chicken Achari Handi, Madrasi Handi, and Badshahi Handi, and each one was a flavor-packed experience. The Chicken Achari Handi had that perfect desi tang and spice, bringing back classic achar flavors in the most comforting way. The Madrasi Handi was a pleasant surprise with its coconut-infused gravy rich, creamy, and slightly different from your usual handi fare. As for the Badshahi Handi, it was indeed royal - thick, savory, and full of bold spices that made every bite satisfying. One thing to mention their is I don't like extremely spicy food and I prefer mild spices instead to give you an idea about the food that I tried.
All of these dishes paired perfectly with their hot, fresh naans and flaky lacha parathas. Honestly, Iâd come back just for the combination of their handis with those breads. I also tried their Nashta Thali, which had good variety, but personally, the handis were the clear winners for me. If youâre a fan of hearty, desi gravies and traditional flatbreads, this place wonât disappoint.
Service was great, friendly staff and quick turnaround. Our food arrived hot, and the team was attentive without being overbearing. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices felt fair for the quality and quantity served.
If I had to suggest anything, it would be to enhance the Nashta Thali a bit maybe to reduce the oil quantity in channa's and bhujiya.
Overall, Chatthaâs BBQ & Nashta is a must-visit for anyone craving bold, authentic Pakistani handi dishes. I highly recommend trying it out especially for the Chicken Achari and Badshahi Handis. Youâll leave full and happy, with a new favorite spot on...
Read moreHouston we have a problem! Chattha at Bahria Enclave believes that exclusivity wins the competition! They think of themselves as Apple Inc., that they keep their prices to the max to make people come here to satisfy their ego. One of the first eateries in Bahria Enclave, chattha's who crawled out of F11 finally revamped their outdated restaurants and menu and have been increasing their prices on almost monthly basis! The food is not worth the quantity or price! Service is equally slow and in the dead of winter mornings you are made to sit without heaters and served ice cold nashtas! Then of course you are expected to pay almost 6000 rupees for six pooris, a single helping of channa, halwa and a not so good tasting Aaloo bhujia. Yes their 3 halwa poori nashtas costed 5777 rupees to be exact! And by the way did I mention it was served ice cold? The other food items like lahori thali, brain masalla, Nihari, cheese egg, tandoori parathas all were served ice cold as if they were all made one or two days before and we're warmed in the microwave to be served! Pathetic simply pathetic. The parking next to the outlet was cordoned off by the bahria hospital security and people were asked to park their cars about a few hundred yards away, I guess the strategy was to make you feel hungry when you are walking towards it and a long walk for digestion while leaving the place!!! I have been to almost all their outlets ever since they revamped themselves with cosmetic changes and this was my last ever visit to any of their outlets. A word of advice! You are not Apple Inc and you are certainly not serving iPhones! Your service is dead slow, food served is dead cold and people are fleeced for their money and made to sit in a shaded open from all side god forsaken contraption that makes you feel claustrophobic. You may not be serving quality food but you are definitely serving pneumonia by making people sit...
Read moreI recently had the chance to visit Chattha's in Bahria Town, which is well-known for its breakfast menu, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast with family or friends. The menu boasts a variety of delicious traditional Pakistani breakfast items, such as halwa puri, nihari, and parathas, alongside a selection of omelets, freshly baked bread, and other popular morning dishes.
One of the highlights of my visit was the halwa puri, which was served hot and fresh, with perfectly crispy puris and flavorful chana masala. The nihari was another standout, with tender meat and a rich, aromatic gravy that was full of spices and flavor. The variety in the menu caters to different tastes, whether you're in the mood for something light or a more hearty, traditional breakfast. The food quality was excellent, and the service was prompt and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
Additionally, the prices at Chattha's are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes they offer. The restaurant also maintains a clean and pleasant environment, making it an ideal spot for a weekend breakfast or brunch. Overall, Chattha's in Bahria Town is a great place to start your day with a delicious and satisfying breakfast. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a traditional Pakistani breakfast in a...
