Today, I ordered Marhaba’s Aftaar Platter, and I must say, I’ve never been this disappointed—especially considering Marhaba’s past consistency. The quality of every single item was shockingly poor. The pakoras and fried items were cold and soggy, and the samosa looked as if it had been soaked in water. To top it off, there were barely 5-10 dark, oddly colored yellow pieces of some unknown, sour item being passed off as fruit chaat.

Even worse, both the dahi bhallay and so-called fruit chaat were hotter than the fried items—completely unappetizing. The “fruit drink” was a yellow-colored liquid with neither sugar nor flavor, utterly tasteless.

The only slightly redeemable item was the tempura chicken, and even that was colder than the supposed fruit drink.
