Jade Express and China Town — Restaurant in Gujujranwala City Tehsil

Two in one kind of restaurant having everything from breakfast items to main course dinner selection, with a full menu just for tingling the "Chinese" taste buds. Jade Cafe by China Town is very very famous for crowd pulling in Lahore, heard a lot of good things about this one, so here we are for the experience.

Ambience, out look, parking, seating area, waiting time, hall temperature, order time, staff were all perfect and above the expectations we had.

Two menus were given, one for "Jade Express" and other for "China Town". The first step that gets you flabbergasted on what to order.

Ordered three dishes from the bucket full of items.

Dumplings from China Town - 7/10 These tasted above average but the out layer was very hard and chewy which ruined the overall taste a little bit.

Jade Special Chicken - 9/10 This is definitely a must try for everyone that can handle a little bit of spice. Fried chicken is served with an out of this world Salsa Sauce which heightens the overall taste of the dish. Thumps up!

Parmesan Cheese Chicken Pasta - 8/10 Alfredo sauce with penne pasta, no body can go wrong with this combination and neither did Jade Express. The Pasta had an exquisite taste which is most probably due to the parmesan cheese. Definitely must try for all the pasta lovers out there.

Pina Colada had a very refreshing taste.

definitely one of the worst customer service . i mean i have tried local reataurants and hotels too but Jade is the worst. i ordered the desi breakfast thaali and they brought it after 20 mins without 1 of the items saying that it's out of stock. they should have let me know beforehand so I could change my order. then they served kheer instead but didn't bring the spoon to eat it with. brought the fried egg but didn't bring salt and pepper. when they brought salt they forgot the pepper and even the salt couldn't be sprinkled because it was clogged. ordered another paratha which took 15 mins to serve by which time the food had gone cold. asked for the Wi-Fi password. they said they'd "send" it (whatever that means) and then forgot. had to remind them again. instead of giving me the password took my phone away out of sight to enter the password. who does that without asking? even the food is so nominal. i wonder how they plan to run such a shabby business. a really cool interior though. very poor experience. please train your...

Nice clean place on first floor for Lunch cum Hi tea. The staff is very attentive and courteous. The variety of food is not much but everything cooked to perfection. Fish , chicken, Haleeem, pasta , pizza were nice . Traditional pani poori ( Gool Guppas) were also good. The parking is alongside the service road and is not much. The view from the top is also good .The negative points are 1- only access is by a lift .
