New and Fresh taste is here.. Thier marketing advertisement is everywhere in Jhelum city which created enough hype for me to try it.
Honestly I wasn't expecting much knowing the other restaurants in the city such as Asian Cousine and giving city's restaurants standards.
I ordered Sizzlers Fire Beef Steak with Peach Ice tea.
It was the 2nd day of the business and understandably service was not in full flow, that's the reason I am giving it one star less. But as I said it's understandable and I hope it will get better with time.
Sizzles Beef steak was amazing, I never had such a good steak in whole Pakistan and I have been travelling and dinning alot in Pakistan and internationally.
Peach tea was good taste wise but Lipton teabag in it didn't make any sense though.
After having amazing steak I decided to try thier Mousse cake and ordered one but instead of letting me know that they didn't have mousse cake they served the fudge cake and expected me that I won't notice it when I asked its not a mousse cake and fudge cake then waiter told me "oh we didn't have mousse cake so I served this instead" it didn't leave good impression on me and I felt little cheated. Maybe some people don't know their dessert but not everyone is stupid. If admin reading this they need to get this sorted.
But overall I can forgive everything as Steak was amazing, I hope they always serve the same taste and improve thier service as soon as possible as I have seen many people not happy at the restaurant.
But MUST try thier Sizzlers Fire Beef Steak. I am not a big fan of Fudge cake but it was also good I guess as I finished the whole slice.
I will surely Visit again... So many options hope they...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Sizzler due to a craving for Chicken Chowmein. However, I found the overall experience to be a mixed bag.
Firstly, upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately put off by the outdated sitting arrangement and the overall setup. The building, while appearing modern from the outside, did not match the interior ambiance. This was a bit disappointing as I was hoping for a more contemporary dining experience.
Additionally, when I placed my order for Chicken Chowmein, I was told to expect a wait time of 10-15 minutes. However, it took a significantly longer 45 minutes for the dish to be prepared and served. This extended waiting period was unexpected and did affect my overall impression of the restaurant.
On to the Chowmein itself, I found that it had a pleasant taste, but there was an overpowering smoked flavor that I personally did not enjoy. While it may appeal to some, it was not to my liking.
Despite the aforementioned drawbacks, I must mention that the overall experience at Sizzler was not entirely negative. The food, apart from the smoked flavor, was satisfying and had its merits.
Lastly, I must address the parking situation. The parking area was incredibly small and could only accommodate a maximum of three cars. This limited availability may pose a challenge for customers who arrive during peak hours or busy periods.
In conclusion, my visit to Sizzler left me with mixed feelings. While the outdated setup and extended waiting time were disappointing, the Chowmein itself was enjoyable despite the smoked flavor. However, the limited parking capacity is something to consider for...
Read moreBased on the reviews and recommendation of few friends I decided to try this restaurant. We ordered following items Reshmi Kebab Makhni handi Salad, raita, roti Cheeze nan Kungpao chicken.
Value for money: Their rates are high as compared to other places. However both quality and quantity doesn't justify the rates. 2/10 in terms of value for money.
Taste: on of the most important part is taste. Unfortunately I was completely disappointed. 3/10
Kebabs were too spicy. Normally reshmi kebabs are mild and juicy. This element was completely missing. 3/10
Chicken Makhni Handi was a disaster. I specifically told them. Not to use red chillies. However there were red chillies in the handi. Makhni handi is normally mild but this one was too spicy. Also quantity was not justifying the rate. Like u r paying 1500 for 6 chicken chunks in the name of handi. Also it looks like they used the chicken chunks/cubes from marinated Tilka boti as there were clear skewers holes inside each chicken piece. 3/10
Kung pao: it was more of spicy chicken curry with rice. Complete opposite of kung pao chicken. 0/10
Service: I ordered french fries as soon we reached for my baby. We took 10 minutes to decide and place the order. I instructed them to bring fries ASAP. However they were served after the main course and after asking 3,4 times. 4/10
Overall I would never recommend anyone to go to this place...
