Al Basit Fast Food Center — Restaurant in Karachi Division

I placed my first order from Al Basit, which included Chicken Shashlik, Chicken Boti Roll, and plain fries. However, I cancelled the plain fries promptly after ordering. Despite this, the fries were still delivered.

When I attempted to make payment, I was sent an account number that turned out to be invalid possibly due to a network issue. I then contacted the order placement number and asked if they had change for a 5,000 PKR note. They confirmed that they did, so I went ahead and confirmed my order.

Upon delivery, the rider not only brought the cancelled fries but also had no change for my payment. He claimed he wasn’t informed. I gave him the 5,000 PKR anyway, and he said another rider would come in 10 minutes with the change. I waited 45–50 minutes for the second rider, who called me multiple times asking for directions even though I guided him clearly.

Eventually, I received my change only 4,800 PKR, and to top it off, the second rider asked if I had paid for the food parcel. Unbelievable.

They actually offers the value for money products. If they are charging a bit extra then you can clearly see the difference in either quantity or taste. They also have a great database. Once your order for delivery and give them the address and other requirements then the next time you contact them with the same number, you will just have to place your order and it will be on your door step. They also have a responsive complain management system if any, just submit your complaint to them and if it seems serious they will contact you to enhance their image and build better customer relationship. Very disappointing service. Well done to your team that cannot even monitor a single rider and a restaurant like Al Basit. The order was supposed to arrive in 40 minutes, yet the rider went to pick it up after 1 hour and 10 minutes. I don’t know whose fault it was, but my guest left after waiting.
