Bombay Koyla Karhai — Restaurant in Karachi Division

My friend took me there and no doubt it's one of the best karahi in Karachi. We tried their Shahi mutton koyla karahi and chicken koyla karahi. I must say that mutton koyla karahi was awesome as compare to the chicken one. If you are a mutton fan then this place is for you. It's a must try item. The best part is that they have lamb karahi as well and the rates are same for the mutton and lamb karahi. They have sufficient amount of space. They have separate area for families as well. But it's better to sit down at their roof top. They have takhat sitting area on roof top. The space is limited as they have not that huge amount space to accommodate hundreds of people. Their rates are also economical. You can even see their process of making karahi live. Very good experience. Highly recommended...

Dumba Karahi and Mutton Shahi Karahi both were great.

However they both contained lots of oil, at least half a cup of oil in one thaal of Karahi!!

This much oil is unnecessary as Dumba Karahi is supposed to be cooked in lamb's fat.

Naan was small but tasty and light.

Atmosohere can be little better if there were atleast 2,3 foot space between each sitting table on the roof, so that if one table has smoking people then people on other table should not be breathing that smoke!

Wash basin was awful and don't know how poor would be the washroom.

Service was fine, live Karahi takes atleast 20-25 mins to get ready after you order. So don't taste them low because you had to wait for your food.

Overall...

For me it was great experience to try koila karai. Karahi (Pakistani food) cooking on charcoal called koila karahi. Its alway serve with fresh naan ( traditional bread) Food was good and meat was properly cooked but the sitting arrangements was not good. They can arrange better but don't know why! Food was good and we waited long as it was weekend Price is little bit high if you compare quality and standards as they are providing. Nearby have many options but koila karahi is available on Bumbai koila karahi. If you want to try food, it ll be great but avoids taking small kids with you. I m sure you ll like ytge food if u...
