Esquires Coffee — Restaurant in Karachi Division

Went to Esquires Coffee with pretty high expectations, had heard a lot of about it. Ambiance was okay-ish, weird placements of ceiling cassette AC’s, either you were freezing under a table or you were just ffered to sit outside in the heat 😬

Ordered • Parmesan Chicken: 4/10 It was crispy, in all honesty tasted like the K&Ns chicken filet to me, it was a workout to cut into pieces and chew. It was to come with a “side of mashed potatoes”. For the price, i think ive made phenomenally better mashed potatoes at home. The quantity was pretty nice i suppose. The sauces given with it didnt really complement the dish itself. • BBQ strip steak & mushroom burger: 5/10 It was filling, the buns were soft and fresh, the beef steak was tender. However, for some reason it wasnt all that flavourful, the beef when eaten with the buns just tasted bland, there werent any tangy sauces to enhance the flavour or anything. • Caesar salad: 7/10 For the price, just a big plate of lettuce with pieces of bread on top and tomatoes, but then again, what more can you expect from a caesar salad? It did taste really nice, dont think there was much cheese or anything in it, good nonetheless.

Overall, Pricey and not that worth the expense. The service was really good, food arrived quickly, The sitting area was really nice and comfortable, they had a workspace for solo people, the working staff was very nice. I might give them another try, but im not that keen to revisit unless they work on satisfying the tastebuds of their customers. Maybe their specialty really...

Their servers really need training especially the entrance staff. The lady seemed little interested in getting any footfall and was not clearly committing to any seating availability or timing, was not even answering properly. Even the order taking was like they're doing a favour. We asked them what were their best sellers and she's like dekhlen sabhi ha. Esquires you really need to train your staff please. Plus we were not even done with our bill or takeaway order that they got some other customers seated on our table. Highly unprofessional.

Food wise it's okay. Not too grand of an experience. The sandwich bread was hard as hell, didn't feel fresh. Their white chocolate raspberry frappe is amazing though.

Seating wise it's a small place. Won't recommend going there on a weekend. Their staff doesn't seem to be trained on managing traffic.

PS. They charge 15% sst on card as well as per some...

The rudeness of staff is on peak.

I calmly waited with my family to order as the employee was making an order. i waited 15 minutes.

After that, he simply took an order from another person, i said bhai kab se kharay hain, he said mein ne daikha hi ni aap ko and continued taking order of another customer who came 10m after us.

I simply left the place after waiting 15 minutes and went to mcdonalds to grab a coffee.

This is the 3rd time i have been facing the same issue , and the same person , same place.

TOTAL coffee service is way better...
