Extremely disappointing experience at Kababjee.

Last night, I went out for dinner with my family (6 people) and ordered Mutton Mandi and a BBQ Mix Platter — expecting a good meal from a well-known restaurant. What we received was far from acceptable.

Both dishes were clearly cooked long before serving. The food was lukewarm at best, dry, and completely lacked flavor. It tasted stale — like it had been sitting out all day. Honestly, it felt like the food had been prepared in the morning and even not reheated properly before serving. For a place that charges premium prices, this is completely unacceptable.

We left more than half the food uneaten and packed the rest, not because we wanted to, but because it was honestly inedible. Not a single staff member bothered to ask why we hadn’t touched our meal. There was no follow-up, no courtesy, no concern.

The staff was shockingly inattentive. They were busy chatting among themselves, ignoring customers, and showed no professionalism whatsoever. Even when we tried to get their attention, they acted as if they couldn’t be bothered. It was clear they were not trained or interested in customer service.

To top it all off, we paid 16k for this kind of treatment and food. The staff seemed satisfied with themselves — but my family and I certainly were not.

Even worse, we noticed that another table next to us also complained about the food. While they were given a half-hearted apology It felt like the restaurant just didn’t care.

Kababjee, you are running on your past reputation — but that won’t last forever.

In my opinion they have suspassed the only competing restaurant in the neighborhood i.e. Kolachi.
