Spice & Naan — Restaurant in Karachi Division

Pathetic! Pathetic! I don’t even know where to start. 1:LAZY STAFF The staff is very lazy known as “kaam chor” they ignore people specially kids, Today (sunday 3rd March) I went to get breakfast and I saw 2 kids who were literally saying “uncle uncle” in a loud voice but still the man who was taking the slips was ignoring them and these kids order was ready but still that man was ignoring them.He also ignores old people because their voice isn’t that loud and he misbehaves with people.There are 2 people who take the slips but most of the time there is only 1 person (the one i have talked about earlier) and the other one is gone for 20min then he will come back for 5min and then so on. 2:MISS PLACED MY ORDER I ordered 1 chicken cheese paratha 2 aloo cheese paratha 6 lacha paratha My chicken cheese and aloo cheese got ready before the lacha paratha so they were on the counter and one guy told me this is mine but when my lacha paratha was done i gave the slip to a different guy (the one who misbehaves) he checked my list and torn both of the slips and gave me my order but he knew that there were 3 aloo paratha in that bag but he still gave me that and just to let you know he gave the kids 1 aloo paratha and one chicken cheese he also messes up their order.so that means 250 x 3 = 750 and 380 + 250 x 2 = 880 …… 880-750 = 130 You guys charged Rs.130 more from me and i want a refund because i know the reason why he torn my both slips. 3:NO SAFETY OR HYGIENE There is no safety in the right side of the counter there is a man making “puri” in which he throws the dough and makes a lot of hot oil splash all 0ver the place with is not safe you guys should a shield or tell him not to throw it like that. And for the hygiene they just wear a net hat that prevents hair from falling on the food.They don’t wear gloves and one guy first wiped his sweat with his bare hands and then packed other people’s order with those hands… like eww it can lead to some sort of disease and its also a bio hazard. 4:FOOD IS AMAZING Your food is amazing it’s just that some of it is very small in size but still it’s very good

Had heard Spice and Naan and was meaning to try it for a long time. Service is slow and generally unorganized. We were seated at a table that was merely cleaned, we had to ask for it to be cleaned again as it was sticky, that too was done poorly and we were told that "table ki shakal hi aisi hai." We ordered halwa puri, paratay and paye. The waiter took our order and then forgot it? She came back and took it again. We got our food then waited to be given plates! Anyways the chanay, and aloo were alright. Seemed like leftovers. The paye were not tender at all. Upon telling this to the manager he smirked! Paratay were alright. Chai was decent. I tried several times as we have that only option near. I complained several times about the pathetic quality and taste of food. Plastic Chapati Low quality naan Smallest sized parathas, though they change and charged updated prices each time. Pathetic Biryani mostly, aloo palak stale, daal chana boiled in namak only, Nihari stale and wasnt able to eat, not all like an average Nihari even. This restaurant is seemed running only for labours working around who used to appreciate them. It is a torture...
