The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Karachi Division

I’ve been here twice now, once with friends who asked to meet here, and once by myself to work since it does advertise itself as a cafe. I had coffee and snacks for sharing each time. The positive of the place is the aesthetic and that there’s balcony seating. But the ambiance is ruined bec the music in the basement is so loud it’s not conducive for conversation OR work. I don’t understand why it’s so popular. I had an iced latte and it was awful, and ordered a plate of fries for maybe over or around Rs. 500 which is at this point my own stupidity because this place reeks of bad value for money. The picture I’ve attached is the plate they gave. This is apparently supposed to be shared. By mice, maybe. My friend ordered a croissant and they made her choose between a tiny packet of butter and jam. Even a place like Test Kitchen gives both and isn’t nearly as kanjoos as this one. The service isn’t equal. They make you go to the counter to order, but if you come out of a Vigo, somehow they take your order at your table. This place feels like LHR/ISB: where you pay more for bad food and somehow it’s a place someone would recommend you should try, because it looks pretty and is big. since the past one year it has been my routine to visit coffee bean bukhari, they call me Ali Bhai my real name is muzammil but all the coffee bean people bave given me this nickname and i absolutely love it. coffee bean is a place where exceptional service meets a homely atmosphere, look no further. The ambiance was good. My first time here at this branch. They have good seating space. Inside and outside. There is some seating available at ground or basement level as well.

The staff were nice and friendly. Service was done on time.

The size of the coffee cup was big as compared to other places I had coffee from.

However, the coffee was missing its essence. Normally you would expect a design on your coffee if you order it from any other cafe. Design is not an issue for me. The coffee had a good amount of cream on it. Not really something you expect in a cappuccino. It was more like a creamy coffee than a coffee its self.

It was lacking that taste of coffee.

Went again after the response from the restaurant and ordered Cappuccino again. This time we went around 11:30am. Ordered a double shot and it was all milky and frothy. Over...
