Ajwa Bakers & Restaurant Mirpur — Restaurant in Mirpur Tehsil

I am reviewing this establishment after recent holiday (31st October 2022 - 23rd November 2022) in Pakistan.

I have eaten from this establishment 3 times (wish I visited more).

This establishment was recommended by the in laws.

This is one of the best restaurants or even the best restaurant I have eaten from in Mirpur!!

1st time we visited we ordered:

1 x Chicken Kebab 4 Piece 1 x Chicken Fried Rice 1 x Tex Mex Pro (Beef and Chicken Steaks, Sweet Chicken, Sweet Rice, Mash and Toast) 1 x Fresh Salad 2 x Roghni Naan 1 x Raita 1 x Pomegranate Juice

2nd time we visited we ordered:

1 x Chicken Cheese Shawarma 1 x Chicken Cheese Pasta 1 x Chicken Handi (Boneless) - Full 1 x Salad 1 x Naan 4 x Roti 1 x Pomegranate Juice

3rd time we visited we ordered:

1 x Chicken Chilli Pasta 1 x Chicken Masala Rice 1 x American Deck Steak - Chicken 1x Chicken Achari Handi - Half 1 x Chicken Kebab 4 Piece 3 x Naan 6 x Roti 2 x Fries 1 x Pomegranate Juice 1 x Coke Bottle 1.5L 4 x Chai

Every time we visited, we had no issues with the food Alhamdulilah everything was great on point, the staff are super friendly and very helpful, they were happy to take pictures of us and even put tables together when we came with a lot of family members, they have a variety of dining area some for families some for friends/couples, you can eat downstairs (where it is quieter) or you can eat upstairs (more spacious).

Cost wise I can’t remember the actual totals but compared to UK prices its cheap, but the last meal we all guessed the price and we got it all wrong I believe it was around 10,000 rupees region but we ordered a lot of food so wasn’t a big issue.

They have a little area where you could prayer the little issue is if there are people seated at the table nearby and they are making a lot of noise it can be distracting but not a major issue for me.

I did notice that some of the patrons here were from the UK or had relatives from the UK.

They also have a shop downstairs where you can buy your groceries and they have some items from the UK. Parking outside is pretty decent and they have a security guard who assists with the parking.

My Mrs left her mobile on the table and the staff came downstairs to pass her the phone – which was pretty decent of him.

I will recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and family in the UK when travelling...

Visited this establishment for a family lunch. Decent building, relaxed ambience, fine seating. Found Ajwa Special Seekh Kababs to be average or less. Mughlai Mutton Handi was amazing as well as the Boneless chicken karahi. Vegetable handi was very well cooked; it could have been a tiny bit more flavorful but I am not complaining. Biryani was good enough though I don't know what kind of Biryani it was. Tea was perfect too. However, the reason for two stars is that I found the staff lacking in efficiency and manners. Kept us waiting for 45 minutes for an order placed three hours in advance. Staff responded unprofessionally to polite feedback. On pointing out an ambiguity in the menu the staff responded with ; "har cheez menu main nai likh sakte, aap puchen tou hum guide karte hen menu k baray main" when told that we had actually asked about the menu earlier the staff replied "apko jisne bataya hai ghalat bataya hai" Their dishes were mostly good but the whole experience was somewhat dragged down a few notches owing to their unprofessional staff. Ajwa Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a great variety of flavorful dishes served in generous portions. The taste and quality of the food are impressive, making it a great spot for both casual meals and family gatherings.

The service is generally good, though it can be a bit slow during peak hours. The staff is courteous and accommodating. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered.

However, the interior design could use some improvement to enhance the overall ambiance. A more modern or aesthetically pleasing setup would elevate the dining experience.
