I got a chance to visit this Charsi Tikka yesterday with two friends and was really disappointed by the service, quality as well as quantity of food. First, we sat outside but there were too many insects due to weather. We placed order and moved inside. On the inside there were no tables, only serving on the ground with cushions placed. We asked them the estimated time for serving the food, no one was able to give a proper time. We ordered around 8pm, and at 8:30 we were told, one of the items we orders is not available (you can see the item crossed in the bill). What about the rest of the food, they said it will be served in 2 min. We ordered another item and waited for 45 more minutes before the food appeared before us. it was surprising to know that half karahi was only one serving, and 70% of it were just bones. When the food came, they only brought one naan instead of two, asked why so, "it is coming sir". We three were done with that naan and waited another 15 minutes before the second naan arrived. Seekh kababs were too small and too expensive. Food taste was average. We paid service charges without having any service at all. They all were so slow to respond. Overall, it was not a very good experience at all. Not...
Read moreCharsi Tikka is a must-visit for meat lovers seeking authentic, smoky, and flavorful BBQ in a traditional setting. Known for its mouthwatering tikka and karahi, the restaurant offers a rustic charm with open-air seating and a live kitchen experience that adds to the appeal. The mutton tikka, in particular, is tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection with just the right blend of spices. The karahi, cooked in desi ghee, delivers a rich and satisfying taste that reflects the true essence of Peshawari cuisine. Service can be slow during peak hours, but the food is worth the wait. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but justified by the quality and portion size. It’s a popular spot for group dinners and foodies looking to indulge in a hearty, desi-style feast. Overall, Charsi Tikka lives up to its reputation and offers a truly memorable dining experience for BBQ...
Read moreWorst ever experience. Tried Chicken Karahi with Chapli kabab yesterday. We were served with cold karahi, which was already cooked. Anyways they got it warm and got us served instead of cooking and providing us fresh karahi. We ate them, both were flat taste wise (Chapli kabab and karachi both). After eating, we were feeling like we ate nothing literally. It was so sad to waste 2000 PKR hard earned money on such pathatic food. We went there out of thinking as it seems to be looking big and spacious restaurant. But Only Mineral water was tasty and hygienic. Later we tried Kawa with gurh, that again was farig. I am failed to understand why people do business without shame and ethics, why are u running a restaurant calling to Charsi which supposed to be providing KPK cuisine but you have only 1 or 2 Pashtun cooks. It is like Arabic food is being cooked by...
