Habibi Restaurant is a culinary gem that has gained a well-deserved reputation for its mouthwatering Kabuli Pulao and BBQ platter. Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming eatery offers a truly authentic dining experience, combining rich flavors, warm hospitality, and a vibrant ambiance.
From the moment I entered Habibi Restaurant, I was greeted by the tantalizing aroma of grilled meats and aromatic spices. The welcoming atmosphere and cozy seating arrangements set the stage for a memorable dining adventure. The staff members were friendly and attentive, providing prompt service and ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
The highlight of the menu at Habibi Restaurant is undoubtedly the Kabuli Pulao. This traditional Afghan rice dish is a symphony of fragrant long-grain rice, tender pieces of meat (often lamb or chicken), and a medley of aromatic spices and dried fruits. The pulao at Habibi is cooked to perfection, with each grain of rice distinct and infused with the flavors of the accompanying ingredients. The meat is tender and succulent, adding a satisfying depth to the overall dish. The portion sizes are generous, making it an ideal choice for sharing with friends or family.
In addition to their delightful Kabuli Pulao, Habibi Restaurant offers a BBQ platter that is a true feast for the senses. The platter features a mouthwatering assortment of grilled meats, including kebabs, tikka, and seekh kababs, all marinated to perfection and cooked over an open flame. The meats are juicy, flavorful, and expertly charred, providing a delightful contrast of textures. Accompanied by a selection of fresh salads, chutneys, and naan bread, the BBQ platter at Habibi offers a well-rounded and satisfying dining experience.
While Habibi Restaurant excels in their signature dishes, it would be great to see a wider variety of options on their menu. Although the focus is on Kabuli Pulao and BBQ, offering additional Afghan specialties or a selection of vegetarian dishes would further enhance the dining experience and cater to a broader range of preferences.
The pricing at Habibi Restaurant is reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes of the dishes. The value for money is commendable, as the flavors and authenticity of the food make it a worthwhile investment.
In summary, Habibi Restaurant is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking a truly authentic Afghan dining experience. The Kabuli Pulao and BBQ platter are standout dishes that showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. The attentive service, warm ambiance, and reasonable pricing contribute to an overall enjoyable dining experience. While a broader menu selection would be welcomed, Habibi remains a top choice for those craving a taste of Afghan cuisine in a welcoming and...
Read moreCousins of mine (Who are recently moved to Islamabad from US) have asked me to refer them a decent restaurant in Islamabad – I unfortunately referred them to Habibi in F-8. They went there and within just 15 minutes they called me saying – what restaurant you referred us to.
I was in G-15, I rushed to see what has happened to them, a Manager called Yasir has misbehaved with them, and told them if you don’t sit here, you can leave the Restaurant I don’t care. Upon my reaching there, I very gently asked the Manager, they’re your customers and being in hospitality you have to behave professionally with your customers, they’re the main stakeholders of your business, guess what? He said I don’t care; I have Eight years of experience in Italy.
Very disappointing, extremely unprofessional, I Guess this manager has not been to such business or he was tired or whatever, but still behaving like this truly doesn’t bring good well to the business and human integrity.
This place is highly not...
Read moreHabibi was the pioneers of bringing platters in isb as per my opinion. Their F8 branch was the first one I guess, followed by many others now. During the starting years their taste and standard was really high. Their bbq platters were a must have thing and they also had really good chapal kebabs and rice. But from last one or two years, the standard has really gone down. They aren't at par with the new restaurants in town. Cleanliness of pwd branch is another issue, same is the case with stadium rd branch also known as food street branch. Food is average now. Nothing special to it. I hope they bring back their standards to what it was once it was started. F-8 and I-8 branch food was really good. PWD and stadium road branches are a wastage of money. Ordered wings once in sideline from PwD branch and they were made...
