Tried this restaurant yesterday. The ambiance was simple and decent, with a clean setup and good service. But the food was a mixed experience, some hits, some misses.
🔸 Dumplings: Honestly, disappointing. The wrapper was thick and yellow-colored, possibly from food dye. The filling was dry and chunky — not juicy or flavorful. Definitely felt like frozen dumplings were reheated, not fresh and served with water-like sauce.
🔸 Spicy Fries: These were surprisingly tasty. Crispy outside, coated well in a sweet-spicy sauce with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Good starter, though not very "Chinese" — more like Asian fusion.
🔸 Chicken Manchurian: Decent flavour, the sauce was nice and tangy with a bit of heat. Chicken pieces were soft. Not exceptional, but did the job.
🔸 Egg Fried Rice: Light and nicely done. Could use a bit more seasoning or soy, but worked well with the gravies.
🔸 Chow Mein: This was one of the better items. Noodles were cooked right, not too greasy, and had a nice wok flavor. Good veggie and chicken balance too.
Portion Size: Generous enough for two people with leftovers.
Price: Fair for the quantity, but the quality of some items (especially dumplings) didn’t justify the cost.
Overall Verdict: A 3-star experience. Would come again, but only for selected dishes like Chow Mein, and maybe try something else instead of the dumplings. With some improvements in freshness and flavor, this place...
