Xinhua Restaurant has been a quiet, enduring thread in our livesâwoven through neighborhoods, seasons, and even the upheaval of a global pandemic. From its early days tucked into F-11, to the bustling stretch of F-10, and now its cozy revival in E-11, Xinhua has weathered transitions with grace. And through it all, one thing has remained consistent: the food still hits the spot.
Weâve been loyal patrons for years, and for the past five, Xinhua has become our go-to for home delivery. Whether itâs a lazy weekend dinner or a midweek craving, their meals arrive reliably hot, flavorful, and generously portioned. The menu has evolved, but the essenceâbold Chinese flavors with a Pakistani twistâremains intact.
If you havenât tried their Monday Chicken and Beef Meal Deals, youâre missing out. These are not just budget-friendlyâtheyâre a full-on flavor explosion. Perfectly cooked chicken, balanced sauces, and hearty sides make it a weekly ritual worth keeping. Itâs rare to find a deal that feels like a treat rather than a compromise, and Xinhua nails it.
Xinhua has retained its soul. Itâs not just about the foodâitâs about continuity, comfort, and the quiet joy of knowing that some things, thankfully, donât change too much. Food: 5 Service:...
Read moreFood was decent - nothing extra ordinary but still good. Itâs the wait staff service that was highly disappointing. First the waiter kept putting steaming hot food infront of the toddler that was seated near the head of table while there was plenty empty space on rest of the table. Then we ordered three dishes of dumplings and just got one sauce with it and had to ask and wait for more. You donât get anything just by asking once either. No basic service etiquettes - they donât even make sure the table has enough glasses according to the customers on the table. If you ask anything, they would leave after hearing the first thing and it doesnât matter if you were about to continue. This wouldnât be an issue if it wasnât a glaring obvious difference from all the other dining places in rwp/isb.
It would also make sense somewhat if this was an extremely busy place but there were only literally 2-3 other occupied tables while we were there on a Saturday night.
We came with good expectations of food but all other things were disappointing. Not a good experience overall but at least the...
Read moreA mixed experience, not as affordable as I thought it would be (as per previous reviews), nice secluded place, plush comfortable upright chairs, didn't like the bust of the goddess on the wall. Food was OK, very decent sized portions.
Princess chicken sauce was salty. Chicken corn soup had chunks of hard corn stalk in it. Honey spiced wings weren't honey enough and the garlic in the sauce was mostly raw. Tom kah gai was too creamy and a bit bland, but the cherry tomatoes in it were a delightful contrast. Sweet and sour prawns were very nice, so was the chowmein.
Unfortunately, a bit more attention to detail is needed from the management, we had chipped crockery and broken glasses to contend with. The maitre'd should also be a bit more forthcoming and engaging, but the service was decent otherwise. Probably will not be going again.
Its really nice to see the management responds to reviews though, shows they are...
