Saddle Room, Islamabad Club — Restaurant in Zone III

I had a very disappointing experience at Saddle Lounge. Before visiting, we called to inquire, but at no point were we informed that entry was restricted to members only. Upon arrival, we explained that we just wanted to have a meal, but despite our request, they refused to accommodate us and showed no willingness to compromise.

What made the experience worse was the extremely rude behavior of the staff. Instead of politely explaining the rules, the guard outright dismissed us in a disrespectful manner. It was clear that had it been a VIP, their attitude would have been completely different. It's disheartening to see such unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy.

Adding to the frustration, my brother has previously visited for horse riding, yet even that held no value in their treatment towards us. It’s disappointing that Saddle Lounge does not train its staff to treat people with respect. They clearly don’t know how to communicate or behave with regular visitors.

I would not recommend this place at all. A lounge that lacks professionalism and courtesy is not...

Great ambiance, not-so-good food. The saddle Lounge dining room is a good place to hang out, but that's about it. Never ask them for tea or cheesecakes or even fish for that matter. Everything LOOKS great, but tastes awful. The cheesecake tasted like a baby's cerelac, and not the good flavour cerelac either, so those of you stealing your kids' nephew/niece's cerelac beware. The fish is bland and incredibly dry. The steaks are especially bad. Ordered a medium rare, and even at a place like this, it arrived well done with the waiter telling me "sir medium rare would be too raw". Can you just give me what I ordered please, instead of making assumptions about what I would like Instead? Full marks for ambiance, none for the food.

Oh also, no coke. Only pepsi....

I had paid through my debit card for two adult rides, which I asked for a refund on the same day due to change of plan. They told me that they have reversed the transaction and the amount will be recieved in my account. They also kept my invoice of the card payment and the token of the ride (as the ride was not taken at all). They told me to contact my bank helpline to find the matter as I did not receive any amount return. Until today, I have not recieved and reimbursement. And when I call their reception to find out the rest, instead of listening and dealing the matter with professionalism, their staff has not been helping at all, and denying to find the matter for no apparent reason. I wasn't expecting this way of dealing from saddle dining room....
