Edit - Revised from 3 stars to 2. Returned about 2 weeks after the original review and they had already cut back on the food portions. Also, back to paper cups for everyone..
Food was good, but incredibly expensive! The prices should come down significantly, or portions should be increased. Right now, it feels like a fancy, hip cafe in Casco, but Casco prices don't work in this area. Avoid the pastries though, those were stale.
Service was poor. The girl who took our order wasn't very friendly and the waiter who came to clear the table was clumsy, attempting to pick up too much and then dropping cutlery on us. With a smile though, he was nice.
Lastly, not everyone who comes here gets the same experience. We were given our coffee in large mugs, while others who walked in after us got smaller paper cups (everyone was dining in). The place was mostly empty when we walked in and hadn't been busy either. Also, they gave my single espresso in that massive cup - that's obviously an issue because it goes cold really quickly. If you don't have the things you need to serve everyone properly yet, you should wait to be prepared before opening.
I'd recommend going to other cafes in the area, like DOC Bistro or...

Sound insulation would improve the acoustics & atmosphere, as would some plants. This place has a great potential and I will be back for some more great coffee (with a long...
Read moreThis coffee shop is amazing. The place itself has a great vibe and really inviting. The coffee is absolutely incredible, and the food is a must try (catered by Fonda Lo Que Hay one of the best restaurants in Panama).
The staff is extremely friendly and took the time to give me a quick class on coffee types and flavors.
Overall a great experience in one of my favorite places in Panama (City of Knowledge). Highly recommended...
