The giant screen in the dining room transmits variety shows in Cantonese, the fragrance of recently cooked jasmine rice permeates the main dining room, and you're presented with a menu that has dozens of options, But beware, there is no alcohol, only soft drinks and unlimited hot tea. What appears to be a restaurant with just a few patrons actually reveals itself gradually to be hosting a special celebration on a separate floor, mahjong games taking place behind nondescript partitions simply labeled with numbers and staff milling about folding napkins, delivering orders by pushcarts and eager waitresses recommending pricey specialty seafood items like king crab. The menu is extensive and quite ambitious for what looks like an unassuming storefront in a desolate strip mall. On this occasion our table shared well prepared dishes rotating endlessly on the lazy susan: salt & pepper calamari, taro and pork belly casserole kau yuk, mixed vegetable stir fry and ginger-scallion whole steamed fish. Read moreI was motivated to review this place after eating the sizzling beef, referred to accurately as filete sizzling. The tenderness of the beef was better than any other place. For sure this dish raised the bar. On top of that, the accompanying sauce was very good.
Another one of their dishes that surprised me was the goose. The meat was tougher than I expected but that is the nature of that bird. It was tasty and the sauce was delicious.

Read moreLa verdad muy decepcionado... fui de tan lejos para ir a comer ya que ese día estaba una amistad de cumpleaños y escogimos este sitio porque se veía bien pero salí muy decepcionado primero mala atención me trajeron algo que había pedido pero mal entonces me lo cambiaron pero no tenía buena pinta cuando llegó adicional había moscas por todos lados aplaste una con mi taza de Té la dueña no me atendió mal pero si no fuera por ella no me hubieran traído agua solo trajeron el Té que no te lo dicen pero te lo cobran tampoco te preguntan si quieres te lo llevan y ya 2 dólares de lo que se pidió el puerco al carbón estaba bueno pero lo demás sin sabor y siendo honesto por el precio he comido mejor en otros restaurantes sinceramente no lo recomendaría aunque quizás fui en un mal día no lo sé pero de todas formas decepcionado...
