Bom Bom Beach Bar at Island Plantation — Restaurant in Bocas del Toro

We went to Bom Bom beach looking for a perfect location for my daughter and her fiancé to propose. We found Paradise in Paradise. What a great location!! The Place was awesome and the beach was so beautiful! We fell in love with the location immediately. My future son in law and I thought it was the perfect location. We set up the after proposal celebration with Jesus, the Supervisor, who was amazing, he was so professional and attentive to our every need. From flowers, to cake, to food, to the champagne serving, to the atmosphere, to the service, etc., him and his staff made sure everything was perfect for my daughter and her fiancé and family to celebrate the engagement after the proposal. I want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts, for such and amazing treatment and excellent customer service. Under new management and I was thrilled. Clem is super friendly, helped with some island info and just all around great. Her brother does the cooking and wow! I haven't had tapas like this since Barcelona a few years ago. I tried them all. I loved them all. It's a bit of a haul to get out to BomBom, but the food is so worth it. The atmosphere is picture perfect. The massive waves create a calming sound and the view is uninterrupted. Go during the day and hop on the local bus (from the main park it's the Bluff 'bus') or take a cab at night and enjoy a marvelous sunset. BomBom...

Ordered 2 dishes - they both arrived and were different from how they are listed on the menu. Salad was swimming in balsamic - the menu only mentioned olive oil The ‘pulled pork’ burger is not pulled pork. The bun is not grilled as it states on the menu. No bbq sauce as it states on the menu and the fries were cold. Ketchup bottle lost its lid on the first squeeze and came pouring out everywhere. A lazy kitchen and boring, below average food. They use paper plates, cups and ramekins - so lazy No basin to wash your hands after using the bathrooms. Just an alcohol spray...
