Woke up this morning with a little spirit for a Sunday trip, what better place to go for thab closest province to the capital here in Panama, Colon.... Wantee to get some breakfast but I woke a bit late... Between trip advisors 10 best restaurants to breakfast in colon there was The Dock Restaurante in Fort sherman as the 3rd plce option... From my homee in the capital to this restaurant it was an hour trip... pretty good roads to be honest... Passed a military checkpoint in sherman and everything was smooth from that point to the restaurant... Went inside and with no problem at all the waitress guided me to any the table I wanted. As soon as I sat down, I had access to the drinks&food menu.. Ordered an Ocean Breeze Gin drink.. pretty good price at 8$ bucks a drink.... Camee quite quick to be honest... In lles than 5 min I was enyoing my drink by the dock admiring the sailboats... As the starter I had the fried Shrimps in a chipotle mayo... good presentation and amazing taste... so far so good... In less than 20 min I had the main course.... PESCADO AL AJILLO PANAMEÑO... that means its a grilled fish with garlic sauece... Beautiful presentation... quite aromatic in the spicess... just a little bit small for the 21$ asking pricee... For the dessert.... had a "Brownie Sandwish... consisted in 1 brownie layered with a ball of vanilla icecream + another browniee... really good texture of the brownie... crunchy in the outsidee... soft in the insidee... In my opinion delicious and...
Read moreI went to this restaurant about a week agofir a late lunch around 4pm with my girlfriend. There was hardly any people dining in the restaurant. The waitress came to take our drink orders as soon as we sat, but nearly 45 minutes passed and she still hadn't brought our drinks. I got up and walked over to her and asked where our drinks were. Obviously they didn't know I speak fluent Spanish... fir those of you who don't it means "if they keep bothering, they will keep waiting". I didn't let on that I understood because we were still hungry, didn't want to go somewhere else, and didn't want them to mess with our food. The food was ok, but the service could not have been slower or more rude... 2...

No olives for martinis and only 1 type of vodka despite hundreds of boats in the marina. After we finally ordered a drink they could make it took over 20 minutes to get it. The burger was hard and freezer burned and was placed on a cold, untoasted bun with cold cheddar cheese and a smear of mayo. I realize that the boaters may have no choice but I certainly wouldn’t make this restaurant a destination if you have any other choice. To be fair, the...
