One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! Ibin is such a warm welcoming man and he can really cook! We’ve had lobster throughout the Caribbean and it’s usually overcooked and dry. Not here though! Ibin absolutely knows what he is doing in the kitchen and the lobster was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The rest of the meal (appetizers and desert) were also delicious and the service was spot on.

Ibin also makes amazing focaccia and coconut rolls that he will deliver to your boat in the morning, still warm. He was a pleasure to talk to and made us feel so welcomed. He keeps his beach clean and tidy and the ladies (his family) who sell molas and jewelry are very sweet and kind. Not pushy at all.

We would highly recommend multiple visits to see Ibin, his family, and the beautiful little oasis he’s...

Basic choices here, but lobster, tuna or a pizza in such an idyllic seeing is easily worth an extra star. The first time we visited I had the tuna, rare, which was cold enough and perfectly cut enough that I suspect it was frozen and not local. It was still very good. Better yet was the lobster on my second visit, cut in half and grilled with garlic butter as it should be. A small side salad, rice and curried vegetables pair very well with dinner and a small document flan is your dessert. The menu is not expansive, the seating is rather rough being that you sit at old picnic tables, but the overall in this beautiful place is worth a...

What a joy to dine two evenings in a row at Ibin’s Beach Restaurant, catering to sailors from around the world who have the good fortune to find this little gem on the beach. The rustic building at the edge of the water is open to the sea breezes, decorated with conch shells, sea fans, and crowned with a ceiling covered by flags of the nations of its patrons. Beyond the atmosphere, Ibins’s serves astounding local seafood beautifully presented and beyond delicious. The experience is completed by Ibin himself who cooks, serves, and entertains with fascinating stories of the history of Guna Yala. Don’t miss this...

We were anchored here during our time in San Blas, and were made to feel like family from the moment we stepped foot on the island. There's not enough words to express how wonderful of a time we had and although all the islands in San Blas are special, our greatest memories are from Banedup Island. Not only because of the amazing dishes that Ibin creates but also from the atmosphere and great conversations held in his restaurant. A truly special place that should not be missed. The octopus curry was my personal favorite.
