Melree's Breakfast & Café — Restaurant in Panamá Oeste

My husband and I went to Melree's today. Our first visit. We were greeted with huge smiles and felt immediately welcome. It was their one year anniversary - birthday. The food was excellent. We had eggs, hash browns, and sausage with cheese in it. The portions of food were larger than what I expected. We were stuffed when we left. It was a great experience. I am not one to write reviews, but we were extremely impressed, we owned a restaurant before moving here. I have been in the service industry for decades. I thought the place was expensive. Including tip, breakfast was well over $50 for two people, and that was with the Jubilado discount, which Melree's is nice enough to publish on their menu. The food was competitive in taste and portion size, but it didn't match the pricing. The microscopic kitchen means larger groups will be waiting for longer than they might be accustomed to.
