The kebab is good but 140Kr. for a kebab roll or 160 Kr. for a kebab pita is expensive considering (1) it is a kiosk outside the city and (2) no tomato or paprika/ bell pepper included in the salad (3) they are not huge. Other kebab places inside the city with thinly sliced meat in kebaps/ pita charge only between 90 -120 kr. The kebab is very good. Flavourful and not oily. The bread is freshly made. The meat is thinly sliced and tasty. the service is fast and friendly.

I recently visited Papa Rosa in Oslo and decided to try their shawarma in a roll. It was a delightful mix of flavors, the meat was perfect, fresh vegetables and a tangy sauce, all wrapped in a soft, hand made roll. The portion was huge, and every bite offered a satisfying balance of texture and taste. Highly recommend!!!

Papa Rosa lives up to its reputation as Oslo’s best kebab. The dough is fresh, so much that you can smell it once you go in, along with the amazing meat. And the owner is very friendly! Though it may be out of the way for many, the food is well worth the travel.
