Ang's Restaurant — Restaurant in New Guinea

Ang's is an institution in Port Moresby. Wonderful food & wonderful people. Even though it's moved they've retained many of the staff but not the chef. Even with a new chef I'm pleased to say the quality & taste of the food is just as good as it was before.

As noted by another reviewer the new location has plenty of off-street, secure parking.

Someone also commented on staff being less than excellent, even rude. I'm inclined not to agree. Yes, they have their own style but they are good. I'm a regular diner and I don't have to order, the service staff know what I like & simply confirm with me if I want that or something else. Wonderful, delicious & authentic Malaysian/ Chinese restaurant in Port Moresby!

Extensive menu, but a must have is the roasted duck & chicken rice! They also come with great condiments of chilli garlic sauce, chopped garlic & chilli in soy sauce.

We also had garlic kangkung which was also really yummy!!

Also, they have more dishes that are not on the menu, so you can ask the staff...

Extremely disappointing!!! I ordered their char kway teow for lunch on a Friday and what I got was a plate of noodles soggier than the Yorkshire dales and just as bland.
