Hacienda Huayoccari — Restaurant in Huayllabamba

Hacienda Huayoccari completely blew me away. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of magical. The host and server were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our visit unforgettable. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel like honored guests in a family home.

The food? Perfect in every sense. Each dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and made with the freshest local ingredients. It was easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Peru — or anywhere.

And the atmosphere... stunning. Surrounded by lush gardens, beautiful artwork, and panoramic views of the Sacred Valley, it felt like stepping into a dream. Every detail, from the decor to the peaceful ambiance, reflected thoughtfulness and care.

Hacienda Huayoccari far exceeded my expectations. If you are anywhere near this area, do not miss it. This place is a rare treasure, and visiting it will be a highlight...

The tour guide took my parents there, we followed them. Seems they get some kind of comission. We had no idea we had to ask for four dishes, my parents tour guide did not tell us, nor the owner or the waiter. I asked only for a quinoa soup thinking the plates were big.

When we got the check to pay our share, we were charged 1,000 soles for the four of us. None of us (both my children, our driver whom we decided to invite nor me) had the complete 4 courses.

I think they should have told us.

The place is far away (one star) the food is extremly expensive for what it is (one star) and the service one star because they should of told us about the four course. Eat it or not, it was our decision, we could have gift it to...

This restaurant in an experience. I was in awe when entering the hacienda. Everything was so out of the movies, very highly designed to show you a corner of countryside heaven. After you pass the garden with avocados and lime trees, you are welcomed by classical music while walking through various rooms until the dining room. Each room is highly decorated with paintings and other accessories and the view over the garden and mountains is spectacular. The menu had three parts: starters, main and desert. We are welcomed...
