Restaurante Paraiso Verde — Restaurant in La Banda de Shilcayo

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Tarapoto. We went to this restaurant after visiting Ahuashiyacu waterfall just because it was the closest one — a big mistake. The chorizo was clearly spoiled, with a bad smell and taste; the fish wasn’t fresh, and the yuca was bitter (they only replaced it with rice).

When we reported the issue, the staff offered no apology or real solution. They simply took away the chorizo and deducted S/5, charging S/30 for a dish that was not edible. Their attitude immediately changed after the complaint, showing a complete lack of professionalism. They also didn’t accept card payments, using the rain as an excuse.

This shows a total lack of responsibility regarding food safety, which can seriously affect customers’ health. The way they handled the situation was unacceptable. I absolutely do not...
