Gastronomía Vegana 🌱 — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

The food was great quality, interms of ingredients. The service was quite friendly, although, it seemed chaotic for only 3 tables being seated. When we called we also were asked to make a reservation...seemed odd. The presentation of the food was excellent. We were highly (and hungry) concerned that the food took at least 1 hour to arrive to the table. There was another table which arrived much later and were served before us. They may have called in advance, and seemed to know the owner. As vegan GF, there were very few choices, and we had to negotiate some creative dishes off the menu. They were not outstanding. One of our biggest issue for us was the cost per person. For such a high price for Perú, come high expectations, which in our experience were not quite met. We also felt the "effects" of, possibly, the soy sauce used in the "saltado" since it may have had gluten. Although a great effort, we will be hard pressed to go back. Set away from the crowds of Miraflores, this restaurant is well worth the trip to Sorco! Maybe the best vegan restaurant we ate at while in Lima. Traditional Peruvian x Criollo cuisine served in a modern, artsy, open air space. Ordered the trio appetizer (came with ceviche, causa, and a jaleah type thing), and the traditional Seco, along with pisco sours made with aquafaba and a maracuya juice.
