Surprisingly, really good. Usually eating at an airport restaurant is to expect the most mediocre food at inflated prices. This was not the case at La Bonbonniere. Took a chance since other restaurants nearby weren't that busy, but this one was hopping. Figured that might be a good sign. Short story...the food and service was excellent. I had Penne Sorrentino and my wife had Chicken with Fine Herbs. Both were delicious and freshly cooked (not a microwaved abomination like some airport eateries). Very satisfying. Noticed some other reviewers were put off by the price of the meals and that they were USD and not Soles. My Penne was $16 USD and the Chicken was $20 USD. This screams bargain to me. At JFK, LaGuardia, LAX, etc. you would pay 3 times as much for something half as good. Zero in the way of complaints here. Once again...the food was really good. Check the pics for the menu and you can also see the prices are very reasonable.

Sadly, I had a bad experience. I chose the omelette which was 6.50 on the menu outside the place. When the lady brought me another menu the price was 11 dollars. I ordered omelet and what I got was scrambled eggs with bell peppers and onions. I feel overcharged and offended by this service. Custom service is at its lowest quality possible. Please hold workshops to teach customers service, clients satisfaction, emotional intelligence, eye contact, conversation maintenance to your waiters and cashiers. Here is an international airport and you guys represent the culture of a country. Be aware of this important point. I attach a picture of a receipt I got which was not even mine. Stop abusing people at the airports and work on customer service quality as well as honesty.

[English will follow ]Como peruano tengo que decir. Si ordenas una cerveza espera a un vaso mediano y el ceviche de pezcado parecw muy bonito pero parece que el limon es mas acido cítrico que limón normal. No recomiendo el ceviche y una cerveza tampoco. As a peruvian I must say I was quite disappointed. The beer is just a small beer for the USD price you pay and the ceviche is made out of aome sort or citric acide and does not taste like lime at all. I come from trujillo the heart of the ceviche and I am not an expert but I have eaten it all my life so my tatse bumps are quite exact. I must overall give it a 2 stars on 5. Service is nice but specification on the quantity of the beet glass you get is required and the ceviche needs to improve its game.

My boyfriend and I decided to get dinner and a drink at this bar/restaurant because it’s advertised for priority pass holders. We came into the restaurant knowing that we would be getting $54 off the bill ($27 for the cardholder and $27 for the guest) - however, when the bill came and we told our server/bartender that we had the priority pass he said: “Machine doesn’t work” … but when we insisted the pass works at this eatery, he proceeded to swipe the priority pass card in a credit card-style machine and showed the machine taking a while to load. When we asked further questions about why it wasn’t working, he suddenly pretended like he didn’t understand our English and spoke more in a spanish. We then, with our basic knowledge of Spanish, questioned him more and looked around for a supervisor. After about 10 minutes of us refusing to pay the price, we then decided to show him the priority pass offer on our phones. A few more minutes passed until he decided to request our priority pass again and swipe it in a different machine — which magically worked. For anyone looking to dine here, just be careful and don’t let them refuse your priority pass or tell you it’s not working.

ALSO- the salmon in my poke was brown and my boyfriend’s mashed potatoes tasted like someone accidentally spilled a container...

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The service is horrible ! I had to flag down a waitress just to order. They weren't even busy it was 5am. The waiters are all either just standing around or walking aimlessly pretending to be busy. I ordered an orange juice which I had to ask for 3 times to get it. Like are you waiting for the fruit to grow on the tree? It was horrible also. Super super sour. I couldn't even drink it. I ordered waffles as a "special" it was supposed to be for $9 (they charge in USA currency) I got charged $14. Had to ask 2 different waiters just for the check. I asked why and the waiter pretended like she didn't know what I was talking about. She just kept that's the price. I'm fluent in Spanish it's my first language so I know she understood what I said. The waffles were really sweet tasted more like dessert than breakfast waffles. I left no tip and they also ask for your passport information which I don't know why they even need that. Over priced, terrible customer service and the food is not good at all. Eat somewhere else when at...
