We were visiting family members close by when we ran into Fragata Restaurant. One of the best culinary experiences in Iquitos we have ever had. Victor, our waiter went above and beyond with service and explanation of regional dishes as well as unheard exotic drinks such as Camu Camu, Passion Fruit, and Unguraui. Dishes such as regional Arroz chaufa which is Peruvian Fried rice with regional spices and flavory chorizo and cecina meat, was one of the best Arroz Chaufa dishes we ever tasted if not the best and we recommend it 100%. Piqueo Regional, a variaty of meats and Tacacho and patacones (mashed plantains) with herbs and spices were out of this world. We totally recomend frozen Camu-Camu as a regional organic natural juice to cool down.
