Capriccio Metropolitana — Restaurant in Yanahuara

I PAYED 24 SOLES FOR A HOT CHOCOLATE WITH A SHOT OF BAILEYS+EXTREMLY NOT CARING STAFF SO, other than the staff being super slow and not careful with the orders that we made (we had to remember them 2 times some things that we ordered because they continued to forget them), i asked for a hot chocolate with an extra shot of baileys (also present in other drinks of the store that costed more or less 16 soles). In the beginning they din't wrote the price on the bill, but when i was going out they made me pay 15 soles ONLY for the shot of baileys (which was the cost for the entire drinks that had it in them with also other ingredients). I was really surprised and i think they took advantage of the fact that we were young and foreigns. I will not reccomend this place especially because of the staff extremly not caring...

Es una pastelería reconocida en Arequipa y sus postres son muy buenos. Sin embargo es una de las empresas que se están aprovechando de la coyuntura económica sin ningun control. Hace unos dias quisieron cobrarme s/. 4.50 por 1 croissant pequeño. ( En su competencia "La Canasta" un croissant mucho mas grande cuesta S/. 1.50 y son buenos tambien)

Sólo es un ejemplo pero sus precios subieron indiscriminadamente.

Obviamente cada quien puede escoger donde comprar, pero creo que siendo una empresa pionera en Arequipa y con tanto éxito, no debería sacar provecho de esta crisis de una forma tan exagerada....

En sus inicios, Capriccio, tenía tortas y pasteles de calidad, en la actualidad, ha decaído bastante, sus tortas tienen los ingredientes más baratos y ya no utilizan chantilly, sino que reemplazan con moca, que es una especie de cobertura de margarina, colorante y saborizante muy bien batido. En resumen, es una decepción con el Capriccio de hace unos años... Debe ser la crisis, o tal vez la optimización de las ganancias, que está afectando la calidad de las tortas...
