Rojo’s Beach Resort and Floating Restaurant – Scenic Dining with Room to Grow
Rojo’s Beach Resort and Floating Restaurant in Bacolod offers a unique coastal experience that blends breezy beachside relaxation with the novelty of floating dining. With its panoramic views and laid-back ambiance, it’s easy to see why families and groups are drawn to this spot for weekend getaways and seafood feasts.
The menu features Filipino favorites like grilled stuffed squid, sinigang na isda, and boodle trays loaded with java rice, onion rings, and sautéed vegetables. Prices are relatively affordable, and the variety caters well to large groups. However, while the food presentation is often Instagram-worthy, freshness and flavor can be hit-or-miss. Some diners have praised the grilled seafood, while others noted dishes that tasted less than fresh or lacked seasoning.
Service is generally cheerful, but not always consistent. There have been reports of slow service even during off-peak hours, and a few concerning hygiene incidents that suggest the need for tighter staff training. That said, the resort’s setting—with its floating platforms, sunset views, and occasional live entertainment like acoustic bands and fire dances—adds a memorable touch to the experience.
Rojo’s has the potential to be a standout destination in Bacolod’s coastal dining scene. With improved food quality and service standards, it could truly shine as a go-to spot for both locals...
Read morethe view is realllyyy good most especially if the sun is setting down. so gorgeous. you can take more insta pics as well but for the foods, it's just ok. not that really special😅 some are cheap and some are not. the steam crab dish is really expensive. its too simple for its price😁. most dishes ranges from 160-180php. its affordable just set aside the steam crab😂5 small pieces of crabs for a high price. this is their most expensive dish aside from their "bilao deals". overall its a good place but just dont expect to much to their menus. their service water is somehow not that clean. there are white substances floating inside the pitcher. it smells like chlorine. their service is somehow good. staffs are approachable. one of their crews offered us to take some photos for us. they are nice. the said place is easy to locate as well. there are alot of sign boards you can follow. you wont really get lost. it was our first time to be there and we didnt have a hard time to find the place. there are parking spaces for cars and even motorcycles. they offer both dine in and take outs. you can also order ahead. their page in facebook is also active...
Read moreWent here last Valentine’s Day and the place was packed! Good thing I was able to book a table for 10 a day before so we had a table when we arrived. Unfortunately, some of the guests must’ve grabbed some of our chairs coz when we arrived, we only had 3 chairs left (the one was broken btw). So we ended up standing and waiting for the servers to get us the missing chairs. The boodle package we ordered took 30 minutes until it was served to our table. It was good for 10-12 pax. We loved the kinilaw na tangigue, pork bbq, grilled pork, calamares (though they didn’t give some dip! 😭), and their sinigang. The shrimp was kinda small and not that fresh. All in all, it was a good dinner. Too bad they didn’t give some dips. If you’re planning to dine here, I don’t recommend during the holidays since this place gets easily packed plus the parking space is very limited. Unless you go here at around 5 pm to enjoy the sunset while waiting for dinner. They have a bar/lounge btw. Perfect for an afternoon snacks with friends and family. It is separate from the floating resto but overlooking the...
