Good Food, Nice Decor, Poor Service

Overall the food and both beverages are good, I will rate this on 3 tiers: Lets start on the Bad Service: (1 Star) First time walking into this establishment, was easy enough to find the Counter, asked a few questions about some of their promotional items, was then offered to order the Pumpkin Spice Vietnamese Iced Coffee Jelly beverage, since we are not a big fan of the Pumpkin Spice, I asked the Cashier if there is such a thing as a regular Vietnamese Iced Coffee Jelly drink and was told there is, she suggested ""Ca Phe Sua Da" which literally is the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Lo and behold upon receiving the beverage it was completely different from the one in the picture, don't get me wrong she did suggest the literal version of Vietnames Iced Coffee but I wished she paid a little more attention as I was pointing out the picture as to what we really wanted to order. Returned the drink before we even tasted it and explained the situation, a manager then took over and offered to make the replacement. I then informed them of the price difference and told them that the drink I paid for was more expensive than the one I actually got, she never attempted to provide me the refund for the price difference. Not a big deal I just thought of it as a tip to them. Lastly, as the drink was completed, it was then delivered to the wrong table even after showing them where we were seated which was right across the counter.

Decor: (4 stars) The place was nicely designed, cozy, warm decors, prefer it over a more name brand Coffee Chain that is known to earn "big bucks". It was not that crowded and the lobby area was clean.

Food, pastry, and beverage: (5 stars) Aside from the hassle of ordering a simple Vietnamese Iced Coffee Jelly, the drink was really good not too sweet, you can taste the coffee and even though its a frappe, the flavors blended well. We also ordered a Mango mousse which was surprisingly light and not to sweet. Would be a perfect compliment for an Iced Latte that is unsweetened.

Overall, would recommend coming back to this establishment for the pastry and beverages. Note: Come 7pm this location no longer serves the list of food items they have on the menu. They revert to limited easy to cook...

Service was super slow, when I say slow, it took more than 20mins. in queue before being able to order. Took so much time especially during peak hours. Visited the store at around half past 12 in the afternoon. No one entertained when I asked for a table for 7 pax. The crew just looked at me and said there's none. Didn't even consider asking if we wanted to wait until we are seated or that there is already a table that'll soon be available / vacanted. They only have 1 cashier and most of the meals we were ordering are no longer available.

Considering it is Mother's day, I don't think they prepared for this occassion. The store is dull but maybe because of the lighting. There is only 1 Fruity beverage available and they don't cross out the things in the menu so that the customers can already decide before they get on the line. They could've set the expectations about the wait time for food. I asked for cutlery and the crew didn't understand it, Translated it in Tagalog but didn't get it until after 15minutes. Could they expect people to eat at the restaurant with bare hands? That I do not know.

Only good thing about the restaurant is just the variety of cakes and they taste fine. I would recommend other restaurants if you are craving for coffee or meeting up with friends. Starbucks or Beanery would be better choices. At the end of the day, you won't be able to enjoy the meal since it is served too late, no cutlery is provided together with it, the service and crew are so slow and needs training, you need to ask for the self-service water to...

I sent an email about this to Coffee Project Vista Mall Bataan back in February 13 and I received no reply up to this day. It seems these businesses only respond when they get a bad review so here we go.

Potato crushed fish is gross and undercooked. It looks fine on the outside but the inside is slimy, I couldn't eat it. This branch seems understaffed, they didn't even have any cold drinks at all and the reason was "no ice". They have the Harry Potter drinks advertised all over but they don't actually have it because no ice.

Atmosphere is really bad. There were a lot of kids running around, hitting our things, hitting our tables. The parents did nothing, the staff did nothing, I don't think there was a manager present or they weren't...

The Coffee Project in Vista Mall Bataan offers a wonderful dining experience. We ordered their lunch, and the food was delicious, well-prepared, and satisfying. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring our needs were met. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a charming aesthetic that made the meal even more enjoyable. It's a great spot for dining, working, or just relaxing with a cup of coffee. Highly recommended for its delightful combination of good food, exceptional service, and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely visit again!
